tv Picture is ok!! But without media player is not worth it to buyBudget flat tvbetter to buy any un46 or un55 with 3d and media player!!!Otherwise you just dump 900 dollars.
Beyond Expectations I purchased this television during the Black Friday sale of 2010. While I was initially somewhat unsure based on previous reviews I can now conclude that this television is amazing. There is a hint of backlight that bleeds through the black bars when watching widescreen movies. But if you're not looking for it you'll never notice it. The 60Hz refresh rate is a bit slow for new televisions but I only actually noticed a blur on a few animated television shows. The only major fault in this television is the sound. I tried the built in speakers only once. They were shallow and have no real sound in them. Luckily it's super easy to hook up to my sound system. There are plenty of outputs and inputs for every type of device. The colors are incredibly bright and vivid. The back lighting is precise and clear. The blacks are so dark and the colors jump off the screen.
Samsung Quality / Support Doubtful The picture quality is not what you expect from an LED TV and the sound quality is okayish at the start but goes bad with time. Secondly the customer support from Samsung is grossly inadequate.
Outstanding I bought this tv last week and can hardly stop watching it!It works great for everything from movies to gaming and also great for watching my favorate tv shows.Samsung customer support is fabulous also. I needed help on hooking up my gaming system and they were very helpful. Had everything done in just minutes and it is simple.I will purchase Samsung again. Great quility and picture. Simply the best. No brainer. Recommend to anyone.
Highly reflective Glossy Screen. Am not going to regurgitate that otherS have said of this TV. It's very stylish and thin. I looked at it for months b4r I opened my wallet.Now the Cons Highly reflective screen reflects everything if viewing TV in a darkened room with dim lights. View in bright room fine. Media Service functions rudimentary OK for casual use but not serious implementation. Stereo Audio Out jack is fixed level so your external spkrs must provide volume function.
Samsung UN46C5000 I got this product during the Thanks giving. Product was delivered right on time. The setup was easy. Had to tune the settings till I get the right color and brightness.The style and design is very good. LED made the TV really thin and light weight. It has 4 HDMI and couple of USB ports. Good enough for connecting all your devices. I could not try the Internet TV since I have my Modem/router in my office room. Since TV does not have Wireless I cant connect. However I have the BD player has a wifi hence did not worry about it much. As most of the TVs are internet Ready TVs builtin wifi future on samsung would make it peffect.Picture quality is excellent. This TV is 60Hz refresh rate. But I did not see big difference though. It might matter when I watch some sports action etc. But Hope it should not make much difference for Human eyes.I love this TV and I would recommend it.Its almost 10+ months now. I had to connect my TV to the internet since I returned my BD player and got a PS3 and have been using PS3 to use netflix. But now I wanted to use Amazon streaming video and PS3 would not support. Hence got my TV connected to internet. Just then realized that this Model does not have Internet@TV and No apps available for this Model. If anyone wanted to use the TV for the internet and Apps this model is not a choice. I guess I am going to get a Roku or similar product.
Good Value Purchased this TV to replace my 15 year old CRT which bit the dust. I knew it was dying so I spent a couple of months shopping before choosing the UN46S5000. I saw this TV on display and knew pretty much what to expect. One thing you old school HIFI Buffs or Head Phone wearers might want to know is that the UN46C5000 does not have RCA Audio Out jacks. It does have an 1/8 stereo out jack however. So what's the problem? The output is line level only at a constant db±. In other words the remote control will not raise or lower the output.
one problem The TV has great no fabulous picture as long as you are watching at 90' to the screen. If I am sitting on the couch it is perfect because I am looking straight onto the the set. When I go to the dining table the picture quality becomes hazy. The TV stand swivels easily and I now just turn the set so that the viewing angle is again straight on. My old plasma set had a great wide viewing area.
Great T.V. Everything about this t.v. is great I haven't found anything about it that I don't like no problems with it yet and don't expect any. Great picture quality it's very thin as well I thought my Samsung LCD T.V. was thin but this one is super thin.
AWESOME! Right out of the box you could not mistake the design and quality.it got better..the picture is amazing! Awesome price Delivery was without a doubt a pleasure and free.

Best deal for the price! This is my second Samsung TV that I have bought from Amazon. Samsung makes good quality TVs. This TV is for office presentations and it is well qualify for this purpose. I love this TV and the deal. You can not bit this deal at any other places. Set up was easy and simple and it has unique charming sound on and off that I like. It has only one HDMI connection but it is enough for me.
shade for words Hi I got the samsung LN40C500 but it has kind of shade for popup words which tells what's the program showing now for this channel when I change the channel from one to another. I am using Time Warner Cable. The pictures somtimes also have kind of shade or double picture. Also I see some very thin lines on the screen sometimes. Do you guys have the same problem. Is it relavent to what kind of cable you are using.My friend has a LN46C630 and he is using Roku and Netflix. He said his TV has good picture.
Samsung HDTV I purchased this TV during a Black Friday sale at Best Buy for $497 so I've had it for a few months. So far it has been great! I only have basic cable with no HD channels so the picture quality isn't spectacular in that respect. BluRay on the other hand looks awesome as do DVDs. Excellent color and definition. Streaming Netflix was surprisingly crisp and clear especially the HD movies and shows. At 40 inches watching television has become much more enjoyable compared with our previous 20in tube. Sound quality is good we frequently listen to Pandora via our BluRay player. The swivel is a nice feature as well. Only one HDMI port but not a problem with adapters/splitters I only have the BluRay attached anyway. There weren't many reviews in November as this was a relatively new product at that time and I was a bit leery with my purchase initially. But Samsung is considered to be an excellent TV producer and I wasn't let down.
Samsung HDTV comes through again Samsung is definitely the way to go for flat screen tvs. I have the 52 LCD in my main tv room and I purchased the 40 LCD for my bedroom. The picture is very crisp and the samsung prices are always reasonable.
Don't waste your hard earned $$ I purchased mine at Sears for $499.00 . It has had an issue since day one but I did not know it because I attributed the problem to the cable company! The reception would be really bad the sound would go on and off on and off the picture would be snowy on and off and I would get a window that said weak or no signal.Like the car that makes a funny noise but not when you take it the mechanic.This TV did not do it all the time. As time went on it got worse. As it turned out the problem is that the antenna port has something wrong withit and does not allow the cable to go all the way in which results in a poor connection/reception. Of course Samsung was not about to do anything about it as it was one month out of the warranty. The only thing it is good for now is watching movies! I am going back to SONY they have served me well over the years . I will never buy a Samsung product again.
Pretty good and great for the price I got it at. Would not purchase it at the price Amazon is selling it for though A Kid's Review I bought this at Sears for $497 at a preblack friday sale. Looks good. Great Colors. Blu rays looks great. I think I was noticing some motion trailsghosting but only from certain Optimum HD channels in Westchester NY. Also saw some of the same with a couple blu rays but I have yet to pinpoint the problem and I HAVE seen the same thing on a couple different branded hdtvs in my house. Definitely some pixelation during fast action. All of these same things i noticed on an $900 Sony 120 hz model from a year ago. I just turned off digital nr in picture settings digital noise reduction and film mode to see what happens. Looks great as a computer monitor.
No such thing as ConnectShare on this model! I called Samsung to resolve the ability to play videos via USB Flash Drive. They advised that the TV was not made to do such a thing. The rep advised me that she has NO IDEA what ConnectShare is.
Samsung TV Review It's ok for the price I paid. If you can afford it get a 120 or 240 HZ I highly recommend it. There is a big difference in the Bluray picture quality. This TV is only a 60 HZ.
Good TV for the money Purchased for a kids playroom and works great. Is not an everyday TV use however works great for what I need it for. Only negative it that it only has 1 HDMI port in I have my DVD player using this port as I do not have a HD cable box for that room.

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST SONY 32 INCH HD IN THE MARKET!!!!! This is by far the best Sony 32 inch HD in the market. I tested on two versionof PlayStation 3 systems. One is the 60 gig which Sony no longer make. The other one is the current slim version with a 120 gig hard drive. Resoultion does go up to 1080p on both version of the PS3 if you hooked up to HDMI. Plays with clarity and sharpness as I was playing East of Eden an anime TV serie that is out on Blueray by Funimation. I picked this up at my local RadioShack for $379.99 + tax which comesto $413.79. Not bad investment. I decided to buy two instead. Also plays clarity and sharpness on the file format DIVX and Windows Media File from a PS3 harddrive output to a SONY BRAVIA BX 300 HD TV. As for playing regular DVDS movies it doesnot go up to 1080p since this is a form of Blueray. While watching a program on DVD. It shows a rectangular shape with two black stripe. One on the left and right.So this would be like watching regular standard none HD television but still very sharp. As for the sound very very very very loud. As for playing games mind blowing experience like watching in a movie theater. As for people having a hard time connecting this television either buy a PS3 and a HDMI cable and you are all setup to watch HD programs and playing HD games with your new SONY BRAVIA HD set.

Great as a DualScreen Monitor I bought this TV from Best Buy about a month ago. I was originally going to buy a 24 LG LED monitor but they didn't have them in stock. I then came across the 32 LCD TV section. Of the 5 TVs there I found a 32 LG to have the best picture with this Sony coming in second. Unfortunately the store was also out of the 32 LG monitors notice a pattern here?. I saw that this Sony was on sale from $449 to $399 and I had $150 in Best Buy giftcards so I was excited that I was going home with 8 more than I anticipated.I use this TV in my dorm room it's a 115 sq ft single so it's not very large as a second monitor for my aluminum unibody MacBook Pro 15 laptop. I use it to do a great deal of schoolwork and to watch movies and tv shows in my spare time. Since I sit about an armlength and a half away from the TV I turn the brightness backlight and picture nearly all the way down so I don't blind myself. However when I am watching movies I enjoy using the Scene button on the remote to quickly switch to the preprogrammed theater like settings. I did not even think about this option when I was originally purchasing this TV but it is awesome. I have been using this TV for just over a month now and I have not had any major problems. As far as clarity is concerned this would definitely not be my choice of television if I was looking for something to place in a family room and use for HD cable/satellite/ blurays/ PS3 gaming. In my opinion the best way to correct for motion blur in an LCD TV is to buy a plasma. I have not come across a single LCD TV that can oust a plasma some may match it but they ultimately don't beat it.
Excellent picture superb sound. Great price. Big brand This is my first LCD HDTV. At the beginning i was kinda hesitant to buy it because of not some good reviews and there were other cheap TV's to analyze. After some analysis I decided to buy this TV and I do not regret at all. Its image look great the sound is excellent and above all is SONY equals quality. I worked for sony for a while in the VAIO departmentwhich by the way i don't recommend VAIO PC's and i was able to presence all the testing that it is made on a Sony TV.I like so much to play PS3 in this TV and i LOVE to watch bluray movies in it.Conclusion Buy it! And if you do watch Iron Man 2 blu ray.

Awesome Television Clear and precise but where it really shines is the onscreen menus and displays well designed and not overwhelming on the television.
Failed on sound twice Bought this in a supermarket with an eye catching price reduction. Great picture but noticed very quickly that the sound skipped or missed out words during speech nothing to do with bad language filter. Persevered with lead changes etc but to no avail. Returned within 28 days and was readily replaced but the same issue is found with this replacement TV.
Sony BRAVIA BX 300 Series 32Inch LCD TV Black Excellent product. I recommend it. Providing that the resolution of the video to reproducing in the TV is good they were enjoying a great image and sound.
Dissapointed in Sony purchased in mid March Perhaps this is because I purchased the floor display on sale and got an additional 10% off because it was a display model but I can only give it two stars. This replaced a failed Westinghouse 26 1080i LED/LCDTV which I will review elsewhere and given it's a Sony I was confident in the product. I am however surprised at the low quality of a few things.I will state that for a 720 picture the quality is pretty good considering I went from a 1080i. For that I give it a higher rating but had I to do it over again I would have waited a week or two to replace the failed Westinghouse and purchased a Vizio. It's not as clear true to color as the Visio though so I knock one star off for picture qualityLet me start off with the remote. Horrible horrible horrible. Sony's remotes are known to be big but this one is a monster compared to my older Sony DVD that has twice as many buttons. The toggle is awkward to say the least and then the select button is in the center so you often end up hitting the wrong button. I have small hands so I can imagine how this would be for men who have large hands. Then you have the options buttons like display tools menu return scene favorites all surrounding the toggle button. So very not intuitive at all. It's a cute design but not practical. Who comes up with this stuff and is it tested on real people? Anyhow comparing this remote to my $25 Memorex yes you read that right DVD player in my bedroom the Memorex gets better points on remote design and also for size. Seriously Sony go back to the drawing board and make remotes smaller and more intuitive.My biggest issue is with sound. You can not control the volume on the entire set up with just the TV remote. I have O.T.A. broadcasts so it's important to me to be able to hit mute on my TV remote and have it also mute through my sound system a 1991 Sony 100 Watt. I have to use two remotes to mute my TV as it continually feeds through my stereo no matter what option I have tried.
A TV that can't handle motion well This was a Tv that I was really hoping would be great but sadly I was mistaken.Pros Good cable TV quality Sound isn't too bad the design is really sleek and nice looking still picture quality is good.BIG CON Basically you can't watch anything too dark on HD programs or ghost trails will manifest behind moving objects. I had my 360 hooked up and character's heads would look like shooting stars when they would move across the in game environment. Like other reviewers have stated actor's facial features appear to be floating on their faces. I was EXTEREMLY irritated by this.

Great TV I got this TV as a Christmas present to myself I have been very pleased with it. The 3d uses polarized glasses so they are not too bulky. The regular non3d tv has a very good image. Set up was a breeze.I have only one complaint. Amazon should repackage it as shipping takes a toll on its OEM box.
Like the tv a couple of scary moments! I was upgrading my bedroom tv moving from the sharp aquos lc42d64u. Here is what I liked about this TV1. The 3d picture is GREAT as well as the 2d3d converted pictures. You feed like you are right there.2. The 2d picture is good however not as great as my sharp which is 4 years old.3. I don't care about all the net features as I use my other devices to achieve those functions. IMO the TV should just be a TV. I have a Tivo that can play netflix a revue that can play netflix my panasonic 3d bluray player that can play netflix you get the picture.4. The TV prompted my to do a firmware upgrade. It warned me not to touch the TV until the upgrade is finished. I accepted and the progress bar showed for a few seconds then it disappeared. The TV was not responding to commands! I was not sure if that is normal and I was scared to turn it off as it may damage the TV. So I gave it 15 minutes then I pulled the power cord off. When I put it back on it took like a minute to restart and it looked like the firmware was not changed. So I restarted the process and this time it finished and it restarted by itself but the firmware version was still not changed. The third time was the charm and the firmware was upgraded. This is a tad bit scary. Imagine if it happens 2 years down the road when the TV is out of warranty. I think the firmware upgrades should only be when absolutely necessary.5. The warning message when you display 3d pictures is quite annoying.6. Sound is okay. Not too horrible as other reviews have mentioned but okay for a bedroom.7. The TV itself looks nice and would fit with any decor. I like the clean lines and the hidden speakers. The finish is dark hairline black. Not so gray as the pictures might show.8. The price is great and I think it is worth paying the extra money to get the 3d features.9. Passive 3d is perfect for this application.

1st HDTV and I am NOT disappointed!!!! Have been using a 15 year old 36 analog TV monster from Toshiba forever and being totally happy with Toshiba for many years on various products found this unit with so many bells and whistles and at a such a great price that I couldn't resist. Just received it a few weeks ago after a 3 month wait/backorder and yes the outside of the box was quite banged up but enough packing materials inside to keep it in pristine condition. After switching cable services from Time Warner Nightmare to AT&Twhich offers great bundle packages that you can customize to your own tastes and not be forced to take unwanted services as TWC makes you doI have enjoyed the best picture quality best reception and best connection to Netflix the internet and HD quality that I have ever seen even compared to my siblings and parents units from LG etc..

Not disappointed so far Purchased the 42tl515u from another merchant known for saving money living better.1. the startup time does take some getting used to. the mrs. thought the tv wasn't working the evening after i set it up she kept turning it on and off and then proclaimed it broken. i walked in from work heard her complaint smiled and hit the power button and counted to 10. she said oh and promptly served dinner. it tasted good that night.2. HD channels look great. NonHD channels look horrible in comparison.3. no experience with the 3D glasses or 3D movies yet. Frankly not a big draw. I paid the extra money for when some compelling movie is released that I must try on 3D. Piranha 3DoubleD perhaps?Stand looks great and is not that difficult to setup. The instructions at least for me were clear and accurate.
Piece of Junk Pros Light weight internet apps really cool easy navigation remote control very slick and updated HD picture quality = HD quality I have time warner cable with HD DVR box. Watching any dvd including 3d blu ray & 3d blu ray are all flawless.The passive 3d Awesome & really cool switching what ever you are viewing on the TV screen from 2d to 3d feature is really cool but not all that great at least I had lots of fun with it I remember watching some show about marine life in the ocean using the 2d to 3d I had a great time experiencing it I really like it.4 pairs of glasses for the 3d stuff5 HDMI ports 2 usb portsCONS Takes 20 seconds to turn on not a big dealNot wireless you have hook up a ethernet type of connection to it. May it had wifi but I think I tried it but it didn't work so I continue to mess around with other stuff on the tv.
Good Value Easy to setup easy to use. It does take about 20 seconds to warm up but I'm OK with that.

Samsung 32 inch hdtv Product was great packaged very loose. No directions and I purcased the refurbashed model becouse it stated it had a one year in home warrenty I would like this in some type of writing they sent no pappers with it and hope amazon would look into this so i feel like i get what i am told as I love shopping on amazon hope for feedback thank you I provided my number.
Fantastic Slim HDTV First off I'd like to note that I used a 360 and PC with the TV.Currently it's the bestlooking HDTV we have in the house. I've never seen my 360 games look or play this good. There is almost ZERO input lag when gaming. Colors are vivid blacks are the darkest I've ever seen and everything just kind of pops. I haven't tested the sound although several reviews note the builtin speakers are terrible.I don't use builtin speakers so that wasn't an issue. If you're looking for a cheap THX sound experience go for Klipsch 2.1 Computer speakers. The sound is as good as many home theater sound setups.I haven't tested it with my PS3 yet but may update it with more info on that later. GREAT TV I love this TV!!!! Mounted on wall over dresser in my bedroom. The picture is fantastic clear very bright. TV is so light and thin it's easy to hang on wall mount easy to move out of the way when necessary.
Great offangle viewing This is my second Samsung HDTV. I have 55 inch and it's the Cats Pajamas so I when I needed a smaller screen I went with Samsung again. This tv has an incredible picture. I must say that for an LCD screen the off angle viewing is superb. The picture is still quite clear from the side with hardly any noticeable dimming or fading. Maybe it's due to being LED lit.I'm not a fan of 60hz tv's but this one seems to do well.
Very dissapointing I purchased this tv back in September and have yet to watch it. There was a problem with the screen right from the start. There was a big discolouration about the size of a large grapefuit. I had to send it back to Samsung for repairs. When they sent it back the screen had been fixed but the back panel of the tv was all dented and the glass frame was cracked and I was missing screws for the stand. So I had to send it back again to Samsung. It is still there as they are waiting for parts to arriveany where from 714 days I was told. I wish they would just send me a new tv so I could actually watch what I paid for in September! I was told Samsung's warranty states that they must try to fix it before they will replace it! Too bad for the customer.
Wonderful if only! Great TV if only it had more connections for older types of inputs i.e. component svideo composite. I know they're not state of the art but I own them and they're still goodish. I hate being forced to buy new compatible equipment.
sam sony I have this and im sure im getting another for my pc. one bad thing look at the tv standing or sitting to the side and the picture gets lighter. My mom's 32 LCD sony does is to. I was watching a tv show and on the show there was a hdtv in the backround it also looked like the screen was getting bright i think most of the hd tv's do this. this tv is the best i have seen and its built really well. heavy base and the tv sits on a solid chunk of clear plastic its built like a tank and has a very good picture better with dvd and even better on an hd channel nice.
Excellent TV Wow what a great TV. Everything about this TV is awesome functionally and it is beautiful aesthetically.A couple of minor things to mention1. I hate the way they built the connections on the left side of the TV so close to the edge. They at least could have had them facing down where there may be more room. USB and Wireless devices aren't too bad but HDMI and any other cable sticks out the side. I ruined an HDMI cable trying to get it to bend enough to not show. Bad design.2. It does have some flashlighting if you know what I mean. There are definite bright spots throughout the screen in all black scenes. I have two other Samsung TV's both of them are LCD this one is LED and they have some flashlighting too. Seems to be inherit in all LCDLED screens some more than others and you never know how bad your's will be until you get it and use it.All in all I would buy this TV again since the picture is outstanding and the features and functions are wonderful but it could have been just that much better without the issues above. 4 Stars due to the issues above otherwise a great TV.
Fantastic Display but with some Bleed Through Previous reviewers pretty much cover it elegant physical packaging very slim and easy to setup. I use only HDMI so I cannot comment on setup with older connection types.The good with a bright colorful image the video quality is unbelievable. They aren't kidding when they advertise 30000001 contrast ration. It's a 32 display so I haven't been bothered by the refresh rate I personally haven't noticed any motion blur even when playing PS3 games Game Mode on or off.
the worst quality control It does look like a high quality product. I'm using it as a big monitor for my mac mini and the pixels map quite well not like cheaper Chinese brands.However mine was defective with buzzing noise from the behind that becomes louder when making the screen brighter and got unacceptably louder over 3 weeks. I returned mine and got a new unit and am satisfied with my new one.After a couple of week I notice about one inch of blinking line on the left top corner when connected to VGA.

Very nice product The arm was very easy to install. I have it on a 40 inch Toshiba LCD TV and the arm is working great. There is no sag when pulled out and it stays level. The arm goes in/out easily. Since I attached it to a TV cabinet I used bolts/washers/nuts I purchased at Home Depot. I did not use the supplied screws. As other reviewers noted it is better to purchase stronger hardward for a few bucks from Home Depot than to use the cheap ones with the set and have your TV fall off the wall.
Build Well Easy to Install Heayd duty construction works well looks good easy to install and less expensive than subpar products. Even if you don't need the option to swivel the tv it's just as cheap as buying a flatonly mount. I didn't think I would ever want to swivel the tv but I have done it a few times now.
M8 Screws Too Short for Samsung LCD I have no problem with the mount itself. However the M8 screws provided were too short to mount my 32 Samsung LCD which has somewhat recessed screw holes. Had to run out to the hardware store to buy extra screws which is annoying.
Solid Product My T.V. is a Vizio 37 that weighs about 65 pounds this particular wall mount advertised that it could hold 80 pounds with two pivoting points. I really do like that pivoting option mainly because you get about two feet differences from one pivoting point to the opposite side which makes it good for me from gaming to casually watching T.V. It seams to be made from solid materials that can do the job. Over all I would buy it for the other TV's in the house.
Great Product! We have this mount holding our 32 inch lg tv. It does the job quite well. It looks nice in our sports bar. Does empty your wallet buying another mount. This product does the job for a whole heck of a lot less money. We are very satisfied.
Buy It! I had recently purchased a 32 HD Panasonic for my kitchen and needed an articulating wall mount to install it. Heavy research indicated some problems with every unit I looked at not only here but on other sites. I stumbled upon this in Amazon and it had very good reviews. Although this wasn't the least expensive I was willing to pay more for something well made solid that wouldn't take a lot of space and would swivel to almost any position without problems. This is it! There are many positives about this unit. I received the item packed very well. The installation instructions are very clear. The whole unit is very solidly built finished very well and was very easy to install. It takes very little space as it mounts with only 2 screws just be sure you have a good studfinderand folds back onto itself. There are several option for mounting the TV to the mount and screws are provided for all these options. It has more tilt than almost every other unit I looked at. Most have a max of 10*. This will tilt from5* to +15*. It also provides the ability to level the TV up to 2* in either direction. The swing arms 3 are all supported both at the top and the bottom where as most of these smaller units are only supported at the bottom causing eventual tilting problems. At this point I really have no negatives on the unit. If it will work with your VESA pattern I highly recommend this unit.
Super easy mount This mount went in really easily and works well. Had a question so I called the 800 number they were very helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend.
Great mount After being impressed with another Peerless mount I purchased for small LCD TV in my kitchen it was an easy decision to purchase this larger Peerless mount for a Gateway allinone computer. Because the computer is heavier than a TV monitor I needed something that I knew I could rely on. This mount was very sturdy and as usual it came with good quality hardware lag bolts etc. I like their cable management system as well. Finally the ability to adjust resistance on the arm is an outstanding feature.
Easy Enough Fantastic product assembly was extremely easy and not difficult to mount to the wall at all. I am using it to hang a 30 inch flat screen LCD TV and i do not intend to swivel it very often. However out of curiosity i moved it all around and it works like a gem. My only gripe and it is a small one is that there is not any cord management. I have used other peerless wall mounts that have that feature and it is nice for when the TV is pulled out from the wall. Other than that 5 stars again for peerless and five stars for their price.
Great mount I checked reviews for mounts and selected this one.The cheaper ones seemed to be a waste of money.This one was medium priced and is a great mount.I am using it on a Vizio 32.Easy to install and seems very sturdy.I would suggest this over going to walmart and paying twice as much for an equal mount.

Nice picture limited features I was really excited about this TV after reading several reviews. To be honest if it hadn't been ordered from some obscure estore on the other side of the country I would probably be returning it.I'll start by saying the picture is great. For the price I can't complain about the picture. The TV is light and sleek and looks good in the living room.Here are the downsides1. Limited output capabilities. This is the most frustrating thing about this TV. There is no HDMI out. There is no digital Toslink out. There is a digital phono output BUT it will not output digital audio from an HDMI input. So there is no problem getting digital audio into the TV but if you want to get digital audio 5.1 out of the TV you're out of luck. Your only option is stereo RCA output. This is very limiting on a modern TV for anybody who cares about audio.2. There is a noticeable white light blur that comes from each corner of the screen. It is most noticeable when the screen is black but can also be seen in darker video scenes. It's annoying.3. There is a neon blue Visio V near the bottom of the screen. In itself it wouldn't be much a bother but the thing flashes EVERY time you hit a button on the remote. So if you are turning up the volume or changing channels it's like a disco.4. You cant rename the inputs.
Magnificent TV Firstly I didn't buy the TV from amazon.com I got it from dell.com where it was $649 with free shipping. So I won't say much about my experience with Dell's service except that it was fantastic. Honestly I have to say that ultimately it was the price that led me to buy this TV but based on my knowledge and research I knew that I would not be compromising quality by choosing a Sharp.The first thing I did after I took the TV out of the box was attach the stand.

This being a practically brand new TV to the market has very few reviews but I bought the TV anyway based on what limited information I could gather. Most reviews you'll find related to this product are about the older model so I will give you my 2 cents about this 42 Sharp Aquos Edge Lit LED LCD 1080p 120Hz HDTV Model LC42LE620UT.Is it worth it? If you are looking for a good quality TV at an affordable price then this is it. If you're looking for a top notch quality TV then look elsewhere.My 110 rating for price/quality = 10Video performance The 1080p HD viewing is extraordinary. This TV displays seemingly blur free motion with the 120Hz.My 110 rating for video = 9REVISED 12/9/10 How does it sound? Specs include 2 10 watt speakers. The sound quality is below average of what I would expect. You can play around with the settings by adjusting bass and treble. The higher the volume the more faded the sound probably because the speakers face the backside of the tv which might be okay for a small room. Pretty much with this TV your sacrificing quality speakers so you can have a slim video screen. If you want satisfactory sound with this TV be sure to hook up a stereo or surround sound system with it.
Throughly pleased I have owned the Sharp AQUOS LC42LE620UT for about a week now and I must say that I am quite happy I made the decision to by this TV. Delivery was pretty smoothFYI I purchased this TV from Dell who uses Pilot Freight I'm not sure what amazon might use but if it is Pilot as well be sure to call and check on your order once it is updated to Recovered at Destination otherwise there is a very good chance that your TV will sit there for more than a few days.The TV itself comes in a nice thin box which made it easy for me to maneuver it to its final destination packing is quite simple remove two pieces of foam and pull the TV out which is amazingly easy to do because for a 42 its only about 30lbs. If you live in cold weather let the TV warm up for an hour or so before you turn it on LCD screens don't like being cold and you may damage the hardware. Set up is easy takes about 510 minutes I did not use the stand I mounted onto my Wall which is fairly easy. As with most TVs no hardware is included for mounting.The first thing I noticed when watching TV is the difference between 60HZ Frame Rate Conversion vs. 120HZ is the movement is so crisp and clean it took me some time for my eyes to adjust to the beauty of how TVs were meant to be displayed. The Detail is phenomenal Sharp claims to have a 10000001 Contrast ratio and I have to say Compared to my old LCD Darks are much much darker and whites are so bright and clean no bleeding of colors its fantastic!1080p is great when watching Blu Ray movies it looks as if the people are in the same room as you and PS3 games are sent to a whole new level of clarity.The sound is what you expect to get with 10watt speakers kinda crappy but picking around with the in house equalizer and bass will bring some life into the speakers but in my opinion just get a home theater set and forget about the TV speakers.
Excellent TV I bought this TV through Dell.com for what I thought was a fantastic price. When the T.V. first arrived I was a bit worried about the image quality. Of course I did have it hooked up with composite video cables and was not getting the 1080p quality image. I was worried because I have a relative whose LCD TV is connected with a coax cable and his picture looks pretty good. Anyway after getting the right equipment connected HD satellite receiver and HDMI cable the picture was astonishing. My wife paused a movie we were watching and commented that the picture looked so good you could tell the movie action was fake.
You can't miss with this one. You really can't miss with this TV unless you are a perfectionist uptight technical type. I purchased mine via Dell also because of the price. I have it hookedup via my cable service and the picture is more than great and sufficient for me. I can only imagine what the picture would be like with HDMI inputs. You DO NOT need a sound bar or home theather system unless you just want one. This is a smart purchase.
Fantastic Picture Fantastic Price I like most people who have written reviews on this TV purchased it from Dell for $650. I do know it was also on sale at Sam's Club for $630 for a while as well but I did not have one in my area. Onto the reviewI was in the market for a 40+ inch 120hz LCD tv when I stumbled upon this. I had originally been looking in the $500 range for my said TV but I saw that this was listed for price mentioned above. Knowing that other 42 LEDLCDs retail for about $200 more on average I decided to purchase it. Let me just say that I could not be happier with the value or the picture quality.Picture The picture is crisp and clear. I have it hooked up to my BluRay player and a surround sound system. The BluRay images are smooth and very sharp. There is also the noticeable 120 Hz effect as I like to call it for commercials and some movies with the fast refresh rate where everything looks fake. That's pretty standard in what I've seen from a lot of other TVs. I have no complaints about the picture quality. I watch sports on this and every play is crisp. I never noticed any blur with my old TV and I certainly don't with this. However I mostly watch football and basketball. If you watch something like NASCAR or golf I'm not sure how the movement of the cars and golfballs would look to you.Gaming I play a lot of XBox 360 on this TV. I play games online without any issue. It comes with a Gaming Mode setting which apparently turns off the 120hz induced lag. I actually don't use it and I have not noticed any lag anyway. It's wonderful and the 1080p looks great even through my component cables I know I should really use an HDMI cable with a TV like thisLEDEdgelit LCD I'm by no means a TV expert but I did my research into LEDLCDs. For those who don't know the LEDs whether edgelit or backlit have problems where there can be extra light around the source of the LED bulbs. In backlit cases it's behind the image and in edgelit cases it's around the edge. So for this model if you have the TV on but no image coming through you can see some ghosting and bleeding on the edge of the TV screen. However when there is a movie playing there is no problem with that at all. Keep in mind that this light effect is only noticeable for a black background with no image coming through.
Get Ready to Be Shocked and disappointed The picture is SO GOOD on this TV that I spent the first hour getting over my disappointment in seeing the TV beauties in their true light!Man..what are these women doing on TV!?Picture is great and sound can be routed to your existing speakers easily or an inexpensive PC sound system until you spend the money you saved on a theatre unit.I connected it to my laptop as the primary monitor and watched netflix immediately and again with a GREAT PICTURE!I cant say enough about the quality of the unit! Do your homework and do your shoppingShipping was outstanding got it on the morning of the 5th business day after ordering on Saturday night.

great HDTV Great TV for the price. A good plus feature is the USB port which plays almost all AVI content off of a portable hard disk.The only 1 CON to report so far is the way the video files on the USB drive are listed without a SORT order and randomly. Although there is a button to sort them by name date size media type however this feature does not seem to be functional at all. It get annoying when movies beginning with names A B or C in a collection of 200 movies show up everywhere randomly in the listing. They are not even grouped together alphabetically. Can be quite a painful experience to visually find a name through a collection of 200+.Can't get this SORT by NAME feature to work properly. Wonder if anyone else has seen this problem.
