Love my 73 DLP Bought this tv last year for $1199.00 at Nebraska Furniture Mart and could not be happier. Kids love xbox wii and movies are awesome. My second Mitsubishi had to get a new one when my old CRT Diamond Vision 65 Mitsubishi finally started to cough after 8 years of many hours of enjoyment.
DO NOT BUY! Bought this tv 2 yrs ago and white pixels started appearing read the reviews on the web and many many people have the sameproblem throwing it in the trash today.
73 Mitsubishi TV great TV for the price.takes about a minute to come on so if you are someone with no patience this might not be for you.You cannot hook up to a universal remote so you have at least three remotes that you have to use.A very small inconvenience to get this TV for 1/3 the price of most TV's this size.Picture and sound is awesome. I have the 3D ready model but have no plans to connect this feature.
Did some homework on Mitsubishi . I was all ready to buy one of these when I came across this website of Mitsubishi complaints. Even though most had purchased their Mitsubishi TV over a year or more ago read the identical problems they all shared. From overwhelming white dots to the early replacement of the $150 bulb not long after a purchase.
Mitsubishi DLP 73 My boyfriend and I are familiar with the Mitsubishi 60 DLP that was manufactured in 2010. We were ready to purchase one but found that the price for the 73 was the same as what we were expecting for the 60. This TV is very large and a bracketed stand that is large enough to support this TV should be bracketed to the wall to prevent tipping of the TV. I would recommend this to someone who has a house or a very level and sturdy floor. Product is energy efficient. There has been no increase in electric bill since having the TV. Once all settings are adjusted properly the TV has great audio and video. TV has three HDMI ports.
Excellent Value The TV is an excellent value compared to tv's of comparable size. The color is bright and sound is clear. We had no difficulty with setup to our cable system. The lightweight made it easy to move onto our television stand despite it's size. The seller provided prompt and courteous service. I would recommend both the product and this seller for future transactions.
Still amazed I bought this TV almost a year ago. I am still amazed at the picture quality. I was told that I would have to replace the bulb about once a year because it would start to dim out a bit but I just replaced it and there is no difference at all no dimming. This is by far the best investment I have made when it comes to electronics. The only bad thing about this tv is the sound quality. Dont get me wrong the sound is tolerable but I needed something more breath taking at those death defying moments in action movies. I found out that this tv has 1 audio output. It is a digital audio output. It looks like like a regular AV jack but its not. There are converters on here for about 30 bucks. I bought one and it works great for my external speakers. Just know that it wont give you 5.1 surround sound at all but you can at least hear the tv during the quiet parts. All in all I would buy this tv again in a heart beat and I also paid a lot more for it.
My husband is in heaven After we placed the order for the Mitsubishi 73 inch TV we received a call from Chris Shatto with guide lines and delivery information. Not only was he very personable he was helpful in answering all my questions. He providing me with information that helped with the set up when the TV arrived. Chris also instructed us on the steps to take to protect us in the event the TV would arrive damaged. Every day we received an email tracking the location of our TV. Everything went smoothly We've had our television for a month now. It works perfectly.
Love it Was skeptical of the picture quality of a DLP. However this tv delivers great picture. My friends who see it can't believe that it's not plasma. Takes about 30 secs to warm up the bulb and create a bright picture. Works great for games. Love the light weight. Let's you put it on stands that could never come close to holding a 73 inch plasma. Easy 2 person 2 because of volume not weight move even for those of smaller stature and distinct lack of muscle. The remote works not sure what peoples complaints are.
Awesome Price was excellent tv still rocks friends and family enjoy watching movies sporting games and playing video games on this tv. Quality of the picture is awesome as well.
