Great service great delivery great TV Walts TV contacted me to make sure I understood this is a projection TV and I would need a stand which I already had. Was also told TV would be delivered by freight truck and that freight company would contact me with delivery arrangements. Delivery went smoothly. I would recommend Walts TV in Arizona. Great service overall. Really crisp clear picture quality. Reception with my rabbit ears gets more channels than my old RCA 42 inch flat screen TV. I don't have cable but this TV is more to play our new 3d bluray dvds and 2d movies. I have a Panasonic 3D bluray player a DVD/VHS combo player and a Wii hooked up to the TV via an Audio Video RCA Composite AV Video Game Selector Switch for XBox XBOX 360 PS1 PS2 PS3 Gamecube Wii DVD VCR. Still trying to figure out how to hook up old stereo speakers for a surround sound eventhough sound on TV is already great. Love my new movie theatre TV. This TV is awesome. PS when my review was posted it shows under Paul's TV in California but I went to my order history and clicked on available options for my TV order and I chose to WRITE A PRODUCT REVIEW which is shows SOLD BY Walt's TV and my invoice I received with the TV is Walt's TV from Arizona. I'm not sure why the review is showing under the wrong seller.

Best TV Ever I received my Mitsubishi 82 inch 3D DLP 840 Series today and I must say I couldn't be happier with this set. I upgraded from the 73 inch model and was worried that this set may not be as bright as the 73 inch one because they use the same wattage bulb. Well it turns out that this set is actually brighter and sharper than the 73 inch model. I have all the video controls set at medium and the picture is as sharp as can be and the colors are so vivid it's mind blowing no kidding folks. Had some friends over and we watched some bmx racing in 3d off Directv's 3net channel. They were like dude this couldn't be any better unless you were actually there. We laughed when one friend actually jumped out of the way when he thought he was going to get hit by a bike! THe picture is extremely sharp and clear. Also have it hooked up to the 3d bluray player and watching movies is better than going to the theater especially when 1080p movies are available on ppv now. I have been purchasing though Amazon now for over a year and have never had a problem. Deliveries are on time and the guys set it up at no cost making sure everything works before they even asked me to sign for the delivery. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.
Excellent TV and great service from Walts TV First of all getting the closet thing you can to a movie theater in your home for a price like this is unreal The picture and 3d feature is truly stunning. I can't say anything more then others have said but WOW. This same TV anywhere else is twice the cost. The service from the seller was topnotch calling and emailing from the very beginning to make sure everything went well and it did.
Mitsubishi 82 Picture and sound quality is incredible. 3D movies look breath taking as the image is so huge you'll ask yourself How did I live watching anything smaller? Great TV if you have the room for it.
Awesome picture great value! Well I waited awhile before leaving a review on this product. Although it has only been about 10mos I feel the need to say that this is probably the most awesome TV that I have ever owned. IMO the picture is so rich it can rival some LED/LCD monitors. You also have a feature rich menu to enhance or tone down the picture. The only negative on this set is the sound which to me is not a big deal and somewhat to be expected with any modern DLP LCD or plasma. I have it set up in a pretty large viewing area and I don't even notice the fact that the back is larger in size than the slimmer models. It's all about the view angles. Also for anyone considering this TV just know a TV this size should be accompanied by a quality surround sound system. Shame on you if you're just getting by with the built in speakerslol. The surround sound brings the images on the screen to LIFE. Seriously I was watching 'Relic' one night after the wife and kids went to bed and no joke i almost had to change the channel. IT'S JUST THAT REALLOLAnyway I've watched movies on this thing and many sporting events Superbowl Prize fights etc. and it has performed flawlessly thus far. Again it's only been 10 mos so we'll have to see. Just in case I purchased the SquareTrade Warranty as a bit of insurance.Take it from a guy who rarely leaves reviews but this TV motivated me to leave a review. You won't be disappointed.
vertical white lines on the screen I got this TV week ago and i have a big headache with it. i turned on the tv and there are around 20 vertical lines on the screen. to fix my TV it takes around 10 days that what they says by the phone mitsubishi . I am so dissapointed.
AMAZING TV I have had my Mitsubishi 82740 for a month now. This TV is awesome and if you have any doubt's about it don't. The factory preset picture is ready for perfect HD viewing. If you tell people you are buying a DLP television they curl there nose at you but when they see this picture quality they are jealous!! Final thoughts have no worries when purchasing this TV it is as good as any LCDLED or plasma out there. Amazon was very easy and shipping was very quick and with no damage at all.

This is my first purchase of a 3D DLP type TV since they’ve come out. I did do a lot of research on 3D TV’s, from looking into the Sony Bravia series, and any other "decently" priced LG 3D TV’s. After what I would consider "over researching", I happen to come across this TV on a couple of different websites for an awesome price, so I picked it up. I’m glad a co-worker of mine at DISH recommended this TV and the new Hopper DVR as well. Upgrading my old TV to a new 3D TV would be a nice touch, because right now I have an older satellite receiver hooked up to some older TV’s. After the new Hopper whole home HD DVR replaces the old satellite box, I’ll be much happier because I’ll have HD and a DVR in every room, plus it’s 3D capable too.
