  • Very Happy With this TV PROS+ Unbelievably gorgeous HD picture.+ Bright vibrant colors.+ Very sleek display design makes for great aesthetics.+ Builtin ethernet cable port.+ 4 HDMI inputs.+ Integrated DLNA allows for SEAMLESS video streaming to this TV from computers and other devices.+ Uses VERY little energy. It exceeds Energy Star 4 ratings by a long shot.+ INSANELY thin display. Almost as thin as a piece of paper!+ Really good sound quality considering the thickness of the display.+ Amazing application platform with all of the most popular applications readily available Netflix Vudu Vimeo CinemaNow Pandora and many more.CONS+ No builtin WiFi receiver.+ Only one component input.+ LED light inconsistencies can be seen in really dark scenes especially in the corners. That's about it in a nutshell. After close to 1 year of very intensive research I'm very very happy that I made the decision to commit to this TV set. It's almost perfect and I plan on using it for the next 10 years and beyond.
Great Buy Picture Perfect.Amazing picture quality and surprisingly good audio too. Great value for money. After thorough research I chose this TV over competing models from Sony.I'd definitely recommend this LED TV in 40 category.
6500 Samsung LED HDTV I purchased this Samsung UN40C6500 40Inch 1080p 120HZ LED TV Black on January 02 2011. I had spent three years shopping for just the right fit. I thought I had found it. Then after just seven months the controls quit working. Luckily the TV was on and set on the correct volume when it quit working. Nothing else works I am waiting for a Samsung service technician to come fix it. And let me know how good their warranty is.
Great clear pictures and video streaming capabilities This TV produces great clear pictures with good clarity and sharpness. The only thing I have against it which I had already known was that when credits roll with a black background and white text the screen is dark because of the edge lit screen. However video streaming capabilities are great on this. Plugged it into my home network and it was ready to go with Netflix and Hulu which I watch all the time now.
Good TV but also read these Facts1 Paid ~$1075 on Amazon late december 2010. and got the wifi USB dongle for free.2 TV delivery is as expected from Amazon site no surprise.3 Setting up didn't take much timePros1 TV/picture/video Quality awesome no doubt.2 Apps not bad like the youtube one. haven't checked others.Cons1 Remote don't like it much. The iphone app is good. the key feature I don't like is its use with Internet apps. typing with this remote is a pain.2 TV Screen is like a mirror pay attention to where you put it to avoid direct light on it.3 DLNA doesn't work as good. I have had no luck to get it fully working after ~3hrs of effort Win7 PRo and 2 other DLNA servers tried none seem to pass on all folder structure successfully.
UN40C6300 LED 40 HDTV Very pleased with the set the Allnet app works well and I also stream video from my computer to the TV. Lots of functionalityjust wish that the HDMI cables were on the bottom of the unit since I'm mounting the TV on the wall. When the TV arrived and was setup I could not believe the picture quality going from a Sony Trinitron 27 inch to this 40 inch LED. Everything just popped out at you colors were very vivid and Black and White movies were stunning. The whole experience of watching programming on this set is liking seeing previously watched TV shows and Movies for the first time again the way it was filmed. I would recommend this TV to anyone.
Thumbs up. I got this TV a couple days ago. For your bedroom this TV is a great choice. The TV is lightweight32lb and swivels left and right on the stand. I use my TV for gaming and movies. There was some response lag without the game mode on. Switched it on and it fixed the issue. The picture quality is nearly unmatched. The sound isnt outstanding but it's not an issue as I use my bookshelf speakers for sound. It offers 4 HDMI ports a stereo 3.5 output for your boombox digitaloptical output and component/composite outputs.
Great picturepoor sound I am very pleased with the picture quality however I was so displeased with the sound quality that I purchased a Sony sound bar. Now it's a great set.
Hit and Miss I lingeredfor it seemed like hours before selecting this 40 Samsung but I finally pulled the trigger. The TV arrived as advertised from Amazon. When I opened the box I found lots of foam with a few pieces tucked into to select cut outs. I was hoping that Samsung would have been a little greener with their packaging. Next I opened the setup directions and read the entire manual. Third I checked all the items against the inventory and found several items missing. Undaunted I emailed Samsung Support and received a curt reply that the I would need to document that I had not purchased a restocked item. I hadn't. The tone of the reply bothered me and it's decided negative conclusion.
Works with old and new Our extensive wall of builtin cabinetry was designed for the old 43 monstersize televisions. We were limited to a 40inch size HDTV. The Samsung UN40C6500 fits perfectly. The swivel base makes for easy access to the rear and sideconnections. The thin bezel looks sleek. Convenient touch controls placed on the lower right below the screen are unobtrusive. But the best part is this Samsung is smart recognizing and connecting seamlessly to our home network old VCR new DVR old surround sound system and receiver. The picture quality can only be called amazing. It has really impressed others who have HDTVs in their homes. The frustrating glitch was our cable company. In the process to switching to a more propriety way of providing HD signals they kept trying to pawn off old reconditioned HD receiver boxes with coax connections. We spent hours on the phone with tech support made several trips to their store to exchange equipment and had to schedule two visits by their technicians to get the new Samsung plus our other tvs to operate. The hangup with the new Samsung was the HD receiver provided by the cable company has to have an HDMI cable to the tv. Only their boxes with digital recording capabilities have this and they want to charge more for this service. We stumbled across this capability and were not told about it nor are we being charged. We are still learning how to navigate the features. Inputting using the remote is a bit clumsy. We need to do more customizing of the apps to have a lineup of those we will use the most frequently. I like the pictureinpicture showing the current channel while viewing the program guide or internet apps. I haven't tried connecting my laptop yet.Going from the dark ages to the future we are finding this tv is lots of fun.

Samsung LN40C530 40 Inch 1080p Black Pretty disappointed

    Samsung LN40C530 40-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LCD HDTV (Black)
  • ConnectShare? Movie
  • Wide Color Enhancer
  • 2 Components & PC input
  • 3 HDMI (ver 1.3), HDMI-CEC
  • 10Wx2 audio output
  • Pretty disappointed I purchased this exact TV because it was rated one of the best by a reputable magazine whose primary job is to give ratings based on performance. Purchased March 2011 and everything was fine until December 2011 when an annoying flickering/strobelike light began but not all the time. And with no apparent reason when I first turned the TV on or sometimes when the TV was on for some time in the morning at night when it was above freezing outside when it was below freezing outside.
We love it! We've had our TV for a little over a month now and we absolutely love it. Can't really say anything bad about it. The colors are amazing and the picture for it here on Amazon DOES NOT do it justice. BluRay is phenomenal for this TV. In fact it's comparable to an IMAX screen just much much smaller. For those that got a tv that instantly stopped working you can't expect EVERY TV to come out perfect. There are going to be defective models in the system somewhere but that's no reason to condemn the entire brand or model. It's like buying a car made on a Friday there's going to be things wrong with it. But that doesn't mean that EVERY car like it sucks and will be problematic. One random thing I've noticed is this on an older TV everything including actors and actresses look absolutely flawless. They look perfect. So do props and animations. However on a High Def TV you can see the little imperfections everywhere on everyone that remind you that yes the celebrities are still just people too.
Great for the money I went back and forth debating a 32 inch 40 inch or 46 inch. In the end I decided that when I move it would need to be able to fit in my car so that ruled out the 46 inch. Of course you should always buy the biggest tv then that you can afford you never hear somebody complain that they bought too big of a tv it's usually the reverse so that narrowed it down to 40 inches. I was shopping over Black Friday and almost let myself be swayed by the super low priced tvs. Fortunately I realized that I was then giving up many of the features that really did matter to me. Such as plenty of av hdmi computer inputs. What household only needs one input? Ha between the blu ray wii and computer I already needed at least 3 plus if I'm like any good American consumer I'll continue to accumulate toys. In the end this tv had all the features I was looking for from the ability to toggle audio and video quality to inputs for all my toys. Sure I could have splurged and gotten an internet ready tv but what purchase would that have served. I don't need another excuse to stay put in front of my tv for long periods of time. I want to be able to enjoy a movie with good audio and video quality then get up and getting moving.
    Remote problem
Samsung LN40C530 You cannot go wrong with Samsung. Picture is crystal clear and surprisingly the sound quality is very good. I also own a 55 Toshiba Regza which privides a comparable picture but sound quality suffers.
Worked okay for 2 years but then. We bought this TV about 2 years ago and it was working fine until last week when it started taking longer for it to turn on. The sound up start would stop and start as if it was trying to come on but then it would take several minutes for it to actually turn on. When I began looking online for possible causesI saw that MANY people were having the same issue as us and eventually the tv would just not turn on at all.
Very pleased with this tv! This TV is amazing. For the money your paying you're getting alot for it. Especially with the 2 hdmi's available and the screen is crisp clear.
Great TV for the price I had a 32inch LCD Samsung before but this is far better. The most amazing feature is its USB port which strangely is not highlighted very well in the Amazon description. I am guessing that all new LCD TVs have this USB port now. It can actually play most mpeg4 movies such as .avi movies including highdefinition encodings with high bitrates and the quality is excellent. It can also embed subtitles to the movies if the .sub files or other formats are in the same directory and have the same file name. Instead of a USB memory key you can also connect a selfpowered USB disk to the USB port as long as it's formatted in VFAT or NTFS.
Fantastic Purchase! This is my third Samsung TV and it's definitely the best one yet. The picture is exceptional really good sound quality and the TV is very attractive. The setup was simple and the programming was fast and selfexplanatory. After researching for several weeks this was the best TV for the best price.
Completely Satisfied! This is my second Samsung hdtv the other a 53 purchased about 5 years ago. This television was very easy to set up exhibits surprisingly good audio and video quality and has performed flawlessly as would be expected. I have been using it for about a month now and am completely satisfied. I would recommend it to anyone seeking a reasonably priced hdtv with high expectations for video and audio quality. Also I was again pleasantly surprised with the timeliness of Amazon arranged delivery.

ConnectShare? Movie.Wide Color Enhancer.2 Components & PC input.3 HDMI (ver 1.3), HDMI-CEC.10Wx2 audio output. Samsung LN40C530 LCD tv (March 2010) The Samsung LCD 530 HDTV brings you the powerful picture quality, vivid colors and stunning clarity of Full HD 1080p resolution. Not to mention a handy ConnectShare input that enables you to connect a thumb drive or digital camera quickly and easily, and a user-friendly interface that allows you to access videos, music playlists and pictures via remote. It’s entertainment made easy. Samsung’s Wide Color Enhancer delivers the entire spectrum of color and luminance for rich, saturated images that pop.

  • New purchase OK One last update Returned this T.V to store and bought another T.V. all together. This T.V is a complete joke TV would turn off and back on with nothing happening. No way am I buying something that just turns off all by itself. Even firmware updates should resolve issues if this is the case.As mentioned my computer speakers have better sound than this TV and the people are wrong you should be able to expect better sound from a thin TV if my laptop can sound good and loud than a TV should sound like I am in a concert hall. No additional amplification or stereo should be required. My laptop sound actually drowned out the sound from T.V.previous Update OK an update to my review. Like others I have to agree the volume on this thing is just atrocious. Toshiba should be ashamed of the volume level for this T.V. virtually no bass what so ever even at the highest setting. I went too 100 on volume and it was still weak volume. Any outside noise almost drowned out the sound my laptop has way better sound. I even watched a movie off laptop and the sound was louder on my laptop then on tv. This needs to be fixed because Toshiba touts sounds as crisp clear and loud on web site. It was one of the highlighted features on website. What a joke.Standard definition output is just horrible lots of ghosting and color spill. and the viewing angle is just awful as well. The only way to see the true vivid colors is to sit directly in front of T.V. I have gone through most of the settings and find that some things are lacking. I have bought several Toshiba's in the past and so far am a little disappointed. HD is decent but still see some artifacts where the picture is not as sharp as I feel it should be.
I will GIve you 5 and 2 I like this TV excellent video and very bright colors its design is very nice and well done with glass top and base of aluminum and chromium at the ends.Look at something on the TV software is a bit complex and then the instruction manual is poor information on how to do everything the TV.
great TV for the money I had it for a months now. Video is great . Sound is 10 Watt but it more than enough for me for regular TV.For movie use my soound system.Remote control is kind of confusing initially but getting use it after learning curve. Had to call support good response time.Overall it is a beautiful TV for the money.
Do not expect it to last I purchased this HDTV 6 months ago and used all it's features Netflix Pandora vudu etc and I must say I am very dissatisfied. The firmware updates were worthless. Every time I turned the TV on and wanted to connect with the internet it would always say network error while I'm on Netflix! It has a nasty habit of shutting itself down and turning itself on with a unchangeable black screen it only changes when you pull the plug. Every time I spoke to Toshiba's customer service it was like yelling at a brick wall completely futile. They always told me that they were solving it or to get the latest firmware and when I did get the latest firmware I already had but gave it another chance they gave me the runaround and pretty much told me to piss off.The picture is wonderful can't complain too much about the sound because its never on the TV system but instead played through my surround sound system. I got this TV for the Internet applicability and it has failed. Monday I am returning it and getting a larger Sony Bravia with similar and/or better features. In my opinion save your money and purchase something at least worth the paper it's printed on. I hope Toshiba focuses on their customer service and the technology that once drew me in as a customer. I will think twice before ever purchasing any Toshiba device again.
Not for the money I purchased this TV for my wife. We're wrapping up redecorating the bedroom and I sold the Toshiba 32 LCD that we had in there. I wanted a moderately priced 40 or 42 inch TV to mount on the wall. We cancelled our cable service so I wanted to have Netflix and connection to our PC video files built into the TV that we purchase. This Toshiba advertised these features and since my previous two Toshiba TVs were so good I thought why not?Once I got it home and mounted the problems started to show up. The navigation through the menu is very slow. This is especially true when I connected to my Windows 7 PC over the network. Didn't matter if I used wireless or wired networking. Netflix works but it's very slow to connect and takes forever to load up the video once you are finally able to see all of the album covers. Then a few days later it stopped working and only showed the Getting titles screen. It wouldn't load any further. All of my other devices worked fine. I have an 8mbps internet connection. The built in audio is very thin and tinny sounding. To be expected really. I'm going to buy a sound bar for it. The Samsung one looks like it's probably the winner. The picture on the screen is pretty good. No real complaints there. I don't see any splotches or light leaks. There aren't any dead pixels either. All in all if you want to actually use this TV for its features don't bother. Either look for something better in the competition's line up or buy a simpler TV and get separate set top box to handle the rest.
THSHIBA 42SL417U BOUGHT THIS TV BRAND NEW. HAD PROBLEM SINCE DAY ONE. LOSES INTERNET CONNECTION SOMETIME AND YOU HAVE TO RESET IT. IT FREEZES SOMETIME FOR NO REASON.BUT I REALLY LOVE THE PICTURE QUALITY AND THE DESIGN FOR THIS TV. SOUND QUALITY SUCKS AND YOU HAVE TO CONNECTED TO YOUR HEME THEATER SYSTEM.USB DOESN'T SUPPORT A LOT OF FORMATS AND SOMETIME IT DOESN'T READ. TO VIEW PHOTO ON THIS TV IS REALLY REALLY SLOW.BAD TV WITH GOOD PICTURE QUALITY. IF YOU HAVE MORE MONEY BUY LG OR SAMSUNG.
Great TV great price Great TV. very nice picture netflix and pandora work great with this as well as wireless access to router. Easy setup. Super thin looks great in the living room. Several options for audio video hook ups. Random but guitar hero work great with no controller lag.
Toshiba LED 42SL417U First of allthe manual included is terrible for a MUCH better one go to Toshiba's sitehere NowI haven't had too many issues w/ this TV and I've had it in our bedroom for about a week now. The speakers are terrible which was expected especially on a superthin LED tvnot a problem since I expected it but you'd think with the amazing sound quality they get out of headphones that they could do something similar with smaller speakers huh?I have had no issues after turning off the dynamic volume option and the auto dimming sensor option would dim every time someone walked in front of the tv or if the sun covered up the clouds since it shines through our windowswas very annoying. My games look fantastic on it and movies are great and the streaming is a very nice touch since I have a media server in the house. One issue I noticed was the sound is actually worse on the speakers whenever you're streaming from a media server as opposed to watching tv or gaming as I streamed from my Ps3 and the sound from the video was fine even on the tiny speakers but it was terrible when it was streaming straight to the tv from the media browser. I'm sure that I can remedy this once I hook up some 'real' speakers to it eventually. All in all it's a great tv..slightly heavier than I expected it to be think it weighs in at 35lbs?. It's sleek thin picture is phenomenal. I have a 46 Samsung LN46A550 in the living room and I notice this one having a much bright picture than my sammy.
Return to Sender Try Again I posted this to Toshiba's website today but I'm posting it here for others to benefit from. Also I FORGOT ABOUT THE BRIGHTNESS PROBLEM I had encountered when writing the Toshiba review so I'll add it at the bottom.**************************Just got this set from Amazon about 3 weeks ago after laboriously weeding out others because of size/features. I'm returning it to Amazon today for a replacement. Thanks for great service AMAZON! I had fairly high expectations for the set even though I'd seen online reviews that said the sound was lousy. When I first turned the set on it was confirmed the SOUND actually WAS LOUSY. What a surprise! The lack of analog RCA audio output jacks is a pain but technology marches onward! With a purchased stereo adapter we got our version of 4ch simultaed stereo/quad.So we gave the set a run for it's money. Within a couple of weeks we found that the set randomly CYCLES ITSELF OFF for 1530 seconds and then turns itself back on again. This is NOT a result of accidentally hitting the SLEEP MODE button on the remote control as one might think.
Great bright picture Wifi and other functionality are good! Got this TV 3 weeks back after the intial learning curve TV working great.Picture 5 star great picture Bright and sharp give a sony a run for its moneyNet TV 4 star After the intial learning curve worked seamlessly after hooking up the wifi. Had to call Toshiba Customer service to learn how to use Net TV was not very intutive. They were paitent and gave good tips on using the NET TV functionality. Netflix is good however missing HuluplusCompatiblity Hooked ATT Uverse and Sony Blu ray HTS and TV worked perfectly fine with the Uverse remote.

You will get the full 22 inches on some programs and about 19 inches on others. I am using my set with a hdtv aerial. I get as many as 53 channels with the aerial alone. I do not have cable. I purchased a Phillips aerial for this set but it would not properly go into the cable fitting. So I am using a Radio Shack antenna instead. The set is lightweight. The stand is lightweight. I would not recommend it for wall mounting. I admire the Magnavox name and I am happy with this purchase.

Miniaturization is possible except in all things speaker. If the TV doesn't produce sound because of it's sleek design why don't they sell the TV with matching cool looking remote speakers. Hard to understand the value in putting an inferior product on the market.By the way the picture is great but there's more to a tv than great pictures. I started viewing on a black and white back in 1955 only switched to color in 1975 when I won a new tv at a Denver Nugget basketball game on a scalpers ticket. I think I enjoyed viewing more back then than I do now. My most recent TV was a 13 motorola which I have watched for 20 years from my seat at the breakfast table. It had way better sound than the Vizio and the picture way great. Unfortunately they don't make small white tv's any more. Hmm..
Great video lousy sound Very good video. The sound is of very poor quality. Plugging in a speaker to the headphone jack doesn't work with a speaker very well. If there was an audio output for external speakers this would be good. The TV fits just right in our kitchen.
amazed THEN DEPRESSED I got the TV in the mail today. As many reviewers have said..the Stand is quite difficult to put on. You basically have to force it on which you are reluctant to do with a new TV and once it was onI fell in love. The setup was super easy and it was the perfect size for my dorm room. I love this TV so muchat least i did FOR THE 2 HOURS THAT IT WAS WORKING. I turned it off..came back and TRIED to turn it on. After many hours of trying everything possible to turn it on..I've decided to return the TV. Though I bought it at $200 and now to buy the same black TV it will cost me about $65 more than what I originally paid. I really loved this TV while it worked.
best little tv i ever owned this has to be the best little tv i ever ownedit fits great on our kitchen counterits so thin and works greati am a fan of vizio tvs we have 2 of them. we recieved it very fast and no damage..
Super sleek TV I am very happy with this TV. It is very light thin and solid. It took me about half an hour to attach the stand/base to the TV but I knew it was gonna click eventually. The image is crisp and the sound is more than adequate for my needs.
Satisfied After auditioning several 22 models I was pleased to find this one at a respectable price. It allows better control on imaging & other features from the remote control. The remote control is somewhat flimsy toward the on/off button will see how long this plastic lasts without cracking.
Good bang for the buck! I like this little guy. It's really thin so perfect for mounting on the wall like a picture frame. I have it propped up on a book shelf instead. I don't watch TV that often so it was a good starter TV. The screen is a little less than 22'' and it kind of looks like a computer monitor but the picture and sound are fair enough.
Great sound I know for a tv sound may not be the most important thing but I am consistantly impressed with the sound quality from this tv.
Vizio flat screen HDTV We needed a TV for the kitchen and I didn't want to spend a fortune for one. This Vizio TV really fits the bill. And with the front firing speakers just below the screen it is just terrific. I would highly recommend this for anyone needing a small screen TV.
A white frame TV?? 1080p great video detail and fair audio but room for improvement Thank goodness this is available in black as white is the absolutely worst choice for a TV cabinet. Black makes the cabinet/bezel disappear from the viewer. White takes over pulling your eyes away from the screen. Actually worse than those chinsy silver sets Sony came out with 6 or 7 year ago! After talking to Vizio to try to get a handle on their multitude of model numbers they seem to have more TV's than HP has printers at least with the E and the M versions they are the same set just meant to be sold in different markets. The 220VA both sets will apply to this review.I had a chance to do a side by side with a Samsung 22 1080 set B2230HD and to my surprise this Vizio surpassed the Sammy in the detail department. Very noticeable when looking close up at faces or any other fine detail. The Sammy looked 'rolled off' soft compared to this. This is with the detail turned off down to zero on this set due to the excessive edginess to the image.

I bought it 8 months back and no new internet services added.Stuck with 46 applications.Called customer support and they said that the new applications like HULU browsing capability is provided only in new 2011 smart TVs. They cannot update this 2010 model due to hardware limitations. It is advertised that this tv has update capability but LG do not have any plans to provide new application updates.
Great television!!! This product arrived promptly at my door protected by a wooden crate. I mounted it on my bedroom wall. The picture quality is excellent. I bought the wireless adapter about $70 extra to get the internet connection. I am slightly disappointed with the supplied internet features of Youtube PicasaVudu Yahoo TV wedgesand Netflix because I believe that more features could easily have been included. Because of the quality of the picture this LG television merits a 5 star rating.
LG 47LE5500 47Inch 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV So far this tv has met or exceeded my expectations. The picture is incredible the features are very good for a tv in this price range. I have hooked up the Intranet via. wireless adapter it works well. Only I am disapointed with the # of widgets and netcast options currently avaliable hopefully more will be added soon. I looked at a large number of other tv brands before buying but decided to stick with LG. I now have 2 LG HDTVs and I am very pleased with both. I would recomend the
Misprint in specification! I bought the LG 47LE5500 in June of 2010. The only reason I chose LG over other brands such as Sony or Samsung is because of the power voltage of the set which is supposed to be 100V ~ 240V 50/60 Hz as stated in the summary of spec sheet as well as the pdf copy of the spec sheet found on the LG website. I came from a country where the voltage use is 240V instead of the 120V here in the US. Having a TV set with a 100V ~ 240V rating would enable me to use the set in both countries without using any converter. The TV set that I received has a power voltage of only 120V. When I called the LG customer service I was first told by the rep that LG produced TVs that can be used worldwide with 100V ~ 240V and there must be a misprint on tag behind my TV set that says 120V and assured me that I can use the set without a problem back home. When I pushed further only then did she decided to check with the technical department. She later said the 100V ~ 240V is only for LG plasma TVs and not for LEDs and that the LG 47LE5500 is only rated for 120V. Now she says the misprint is on the spec sheet instead of on the tag at the back of the TV.and there is nothing that LG will do for me as it is CLEARLY stated on the spec sheet Design features and specifications subject to change without notice. So now I'm stuck with the TV. So buyers BEWARE.
LG 47LE5500 47Inch 1080p 120Hz LED LCD HDTV Is really thin and light and the matte screen performs well in my bright living room. The Nexflix apps works pretty well with the Wifi dongle connected the sound is tiny but mine is connected to a Denon 5.1 amp via HDMI 1.4 so not a problem. There is backlight bleed most noticeable in the movie credits and I wish the Digital Audio Out Optical would be in the side instead of the back.Overall I'm pretty happy with my TV and the backlight remote control.
LG 47LE5500 This has got to be the greatest TV on the market. The clarity color quality etc. are without equal. And so sleek looking too. On a scale of 1 to 10 this has got to be a 12. This is the one to buy.
too good to be true this tv buy it directly from the shop to prevent strokes with respect to the base that sometimes broke the screen on the road to be ahead of it inside the carton before taking her to the store pick up and put it in my car to get home all very well easy to use beautiful image after calibrating ok I put my play station 3 play all my titles fps then ghita hero of my xbox360 and wii ddr end but some games console my pc call of duty 4 and 5 and left 4 dead 2 because I say something after spending $ 1600 on best buy on a TV supposedly say well I realize that I could not use it to play anything because according to the late guitar hero game mode and everything was about 170 ms disabled enough time to lose in every shot you do in any game. NOT FOR PLAY AND NEVER SERVED BY A GOOD OPTE PANASONIC MS LED WITH 25 IN ALL OR OTHERWISE SUFFICIENT LAG NOTE.
Excellent Value I've purchased an LG LCD before and know the quality of their product. I'm pleased to say this particular model has many tools and tweeks to please almost any videophile. Being an LED is a plus as it saves energy costs and the planet.
A problem resolved nicely The LG LCD LED TV arrived undamaged. However the stand that accompanied the TV was for a smaller sized TV. I called the company explaining my problem and concerns. They responded quickly making arrangements to ship a new TV overnight and pick up the first TV. Great customer service!! The LG 47LE5500 47Inch 1080p 120Hz LED LCD HDTV exceeds my anticipations and I am thoroughly enjoying the experience.
Nice tv but some dowfalls Ive had this TV for about 6 months and My feelings are sort of mixed about it. I got it from best buy in a package w an xbox 360 which was pretty sweet and the price was fair.PROSSlim and sleek looks great mounted above my fireplace. touch sensitve power and volume buttons are nice alsointernet apps are really cool. i can show youtube videos to my friends without have to pull out a laptop.netflix works good also but layout for searching movies could be betterTru motion is sort a double edged sword. Looks great with animated movies like Avatar or Toy story but not as good with fast paced action films because artifact becomes more noticable. i thought i would be good with sports but u really cant see it which was dissapointingfair price. like i said i got a xbox 360 call of duty black ops with it for 1200CONS Refresh rate is sort of slow. really dont get that detail that u look for in sports and movies. i have to mess with the settings so many times to make the picture were i think it should be. this can really effect video gamesHDMI imports are in a weird position and can effect mounting since the tv is so thin. u cant really place it flush to the wall unless you drill holes for ur cablesBut my biggest compaint is the picture quality. my 50in panasonic plasma looks much better and is way better for gaming. the trick is really messing around with the settings. i prefer vivid with slighly turning down backlight and contrast to prevent bleeding and keeping color below 75. expert settings are just a waste of time. but the problem is a movie will look good with one setting but sports look bad and vice versa. I really was disapointed with the quality with Satellite HD programming. probally because most are just 1080iOverall thou it is a nice tv for the price but the picture wil not blow u out of ur seat.

  • Cheap tv poor service Don't waste your money Three months after buying this tv. The picture was lost. Westinghouse does not offer local service or in home service. They required me to ship the tv to them. Seventy dollars later. I recieve a call from them five days after they recieved it and said the tv was damaged in shipping and I would have to pay for repairs. ???? One year warrenty apparantly is NOT BACKED UP. Dont waste your money on anything from westinghouse. I decided to buy a sanyo tv and wow what better quality. Definatly sorry I bought a westinghouse product.
Great value Getting an LED TV of this size for this price is almost unheard of. This is definitely a great deal. The only downside is that the resolution is 720p and not 1080p but given the size of the screen that is not an issue at all.
westinghouse ld platinum screen 32 inch I love my tv I have only had it about 20 days but it is perfect. The volume is great the picture quality is great.
NEVER BUY WESTINGHOUSE TV!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER BUY WESTINGHOUSE TV!!!!!!!!!!!!! I purchased this TV at Costco about 6 months ago. Never have I had a problem with tvs in my past. Being that I would always go to a bigger better model I would do away with my tvs but not because I was having issues with them. Barely had this tv 6 months and horizontal scrambling lines start to appear. Starts with a couple then more and more till the screen goes black. Sound remains.
Started smoking on the 61st day! I bought this at Walmert online brand new and it just went kaput. I can't believe it! I read the reviews and it looked pretty decent. It was cheap at $260ish and thought it was a good buyPLEASE DON'T BUY THIS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. It's seldom used at my uncle's thinking it will be sufficient so wrong.
So far so good 2 days This was my first flatscreen TV purchase first HD experience. I found this for $249 at hhgregg on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.I opened it and attached the TV to the stand with 4 screws.Other reviewers have alluded to a difficult startup process? It was a 4step process step 1 was selecting English that took 14 seconds. I didn't have any difficulty.Turned the TV on everything looks fine I can't imagine that on a 32 that 780p vs. 1080p makes much difference.Others have referred to poor sound quality I turned the sound up to watch Lord of the Rings didn't notice any degradation of quality. The remote gets 1 star in my book it's just a tiny cheap remote but I only use the remote to turn it on after that it's the Comcast remote for channel surfing.I'm a satisfied customer especially for $249.
Worst TV ever I purchased this TV for the great price how ever I went through hell trying to get it set up nothing but lines running across the screen until I only recieved a blue screen no picture. I could not even pull up the menu and of course it is Christmas eve so no customer service.
Do not purchase !!!!! Used this tv for 1 week only watching it 3 times. It wouldnt come on and westington house will not honor warranty so do not purchase these not only that but we bought two of these for both kids recieved 1 already not working so sent it back now this one is a waist of our hard earned 329.
Very disappointed Dont like anything about this set.My big old Panasonic is much better.I just got because of the price and that it would take up less room. And I thought I would like it better than my old one.The picture is a little blurycolor not good.Screws for the base were not included.I would not recomend to anyone.I don't understand why so many good reviews.
CRAPPY TVS I bought a 42 inch tv from Westinghouse. After a month it stopped working. Called the customer service and they sent the technician in our house after a week. The technician wasnt able to fix the problem so they want to replace the product but took them more than 30 days and still they couldnt find a replacement. So I asked for a refund and until not it has been 6 weeks and my refund is not yet hereI am very disappointed with how they handle my case and the long wait without a tv. Please dont buy any product from this company.
