works perfectly! everything was perfect all the different ports work in the back or at least all the ones i tried/need not a single dead pixel!D the UPS man who delivered it tossed it about 3 feet away 1 foot off the ground and if i didnt see him do it i would of never known.THE ONE AND ONLY DOWNSIDE!after running it on VGA for a couple hours i use it as a desktop monitor when i go to power it off the back end of the tv is hotter then satins ball sack. and i find that i have the hottest room between my computer and tv.if i had the option to buy this again. i would double check to see if there was anything better for the buck. but as of now. i do not think there is.
Better than Expected! This was purchased for our mother for her room as she's moved to assisted living. The product was easy to install and is easy for her to operate. It has a nice clear picture for older eyes.
Doesn't work Got this tv for my son for Christmas but it didn't work. Had to ship it back and get another. Poor quality control to ship something that doesn't work.
DO NOT BUY!!! Whatever happened to products that lasted? We used this monitor for a few hours once a week for ten months then it died.
good deal for the money i bought this for my teenaged son for xmas so far so good he plays games online as well as watches cable tv with it. he really likes it so for the money its a good deal it has a very nice picture and i used the hdmi cables for his xbox and he says that made the picture quality much better than the standard red yellow. . . cables. i'm not electronically savvy and neither is he so we're both happy.
Better than I expected I was a little worried about this TV from some of the reviews but it is much better for the price than I expected. The picture is perfect but the sound could be betterthat is the only reason it gets 4 stars from me. Running it off of HDMI for Xbox and also running Apple TV on itboth with no problems. For mefor the price I paid this was a good deal and if every needed I would buy it again.
Audioout options Thinking of buying one but need to know Has anyone connected a 2.1channel computer speaker system to this TV through its 3.5mm headphone jack? Does the Coby put out a good/strong enough audio signal via the headphone jack to drive such external speakers cleanly without distortion? I have two such speaker sets sitting unused but neither has a coaxial connection option coax being the Coby's only other audioout jack.
Coby 24 inch Great TV for the price. My only complaint is that it does not register all channels that you can actually see. You have to type in the number yourself for some channels. It will not go there automatically with the up and down channel function.
Decent but not great It does what is says on the box and it looks great. The picture quality is comparable to other HDTV models in this price range.I would not pay more than $200 for this TV howeverand would advise waiting for a deal on a better model. The main problem is that the speakers are on the bottom and back of the TVno speakers on the front! So the sound quality is tinny and rather poor.
