  • Samsung 32 inch hdtv Product was great packaged very loose. No directions and I purcased the refurbashed model becouse it stated it had a one year in home warrenty I would like this in some type of writing they sent no pappers with it and hope amazon would look into this so i feel like i get what i am told as I love shopping on amazon hope for feedback thank you I provided my number.
Fantastic Slim HDTV First off I'd like to note that I used a 360 and PC with the TV.Currently it's the bestlooking HDTV we have in the house. I've never seen my 360 games look or play this good. There is almost ZERO input lag when gaming. Colors are vivid blacks are the darkest I've ever seen and everything just kind of pops. I haven't tested the sound although several reviews note the builtin speakers are terrible.I don't use builtin speakers so that wasn't an issue. If you're looking for a cheap THX sound experience go for Klipsch 2.1 Computer speakers. The sound is as good as many home theater sound setups.I haven't tested it with my PS3 yet but may update it with more info on that later. GREAT TV I love this TV!!!! Mounted on wall over dresser in my bedroom. The picture is fantastic clear very bright. TV is so light and thin it's easy to hang on wall mount easy to move out of the way when necessary.
Great offangle viewing This is my second Samsung HDTV. I have 55 inch and it's the Cats Pajamas so I when I needed a smaller screen I went with Samsung again. This tv has an incredible picture. I must say that for an LCD screen the off angle viewing is superb. The picture is still quite clear from the side with hardly any noticeable dimming or fading. Maybe it's due to being LED lit.I'm not a fan of 60hz tv's but this one seems to do well.
Very dissapointing I purchased this tv back in September and have yet to watch it. There was a problem with the screen right from the start. There was a big discolouration about the size of a large grapefuit. I had to send it back to Samsung for repairs. When they sent it back the screen had been fixed but the back panel of the tv was all dented and the glass frame was cracked and I was missing screws for the stand. So I had to send it back again to Samsung. It is still there as they are waiting for parts to arriveany where from 714 days I was told. I wish they would just send me a new tv so I could actually watch what I paid for in September! I was told Samsung's warranty states that they must try to fix it before they will replace it! Too bad for the customer.
Wonderful if only! Great TV if only it had more connections for older types of inputs i.e. component svideo composite. I know they're not state of the art but I own them and they're still goodish. I hate being forced to buy new compatible equipment.
sam sony I have this and im sure im getting another for my pc. one bad thing look at the tv standing or sitting to the side and the picture gets lighter. My mom's 32 LCD sony does is to. I was watching a tv show and on the show there was a hdtv in the backround it also looked like the screen was getting bright i think most of the hd tv's do this. this tv is the best i have seen and its built really well. heavy base and the tv sits on a solid chunk of clear plastic its built like a tank and has a very good picture better with dvd and even better on an hd channel nice.
Excellent TV Wow what a great TV. Everything about this TV is awesome functionally and it is beautiful aesthetically.A couple of minor things to mention1. I hate the way they built the connections on the left side of the TV so close to the edge. They at least could have had them facing down where there may be more room. USB and Wireless devices aren't too bad but HDMI and any other cable sticks out the side. I ruined an HDMI cable trying to get it to bend enough to not show. Bad design.2. It does have some flashlighting if you know what I mean. There are definite bright spots throughout the screen in all black scenes. I have two other Samsung TV's both of them are LCD this one is LED and they have some flashlighting too. Seems to be inherit in all LCDLED screens some more than others and you never know how bad your's will be until you get it and use it.All in all I would buy this TV again since the picture is outstanding and the features and functions are wonderful but it could have been just that much better without the issues above. 4 Stars due to the issues above otherwise a great TV.
Fantastic Display but with some Bleed Through Previous reviewers pretty much cover it elegant physical packaging very slim and easy to setup. I use only HDMI so I cannot comment on setup with older connection types. The good with a bright colorful image the video quality is unbelievable. They aren't kidding when they advertise 30000001 contrast ration. It's a 32 display so I haven't been bothered by the refresh rate I personally haven't noticed any motion blur even when playing PS3 games Game Mode on or off.
the worst quality control It does look like a high quality product. I'm using it as a big monitor for my mac mini and the pixels map quite well not like cheaper Chinese brands. However mine was defective with buzzing noise from the behind that becomes louder when making the screen brighter and got unacceptably louder over 3 weeks. I returned mine and got a new unit and am satisfied with my new one. After a couple of week I notice about one inch of blinking line on the left top corner when connected to VGA.

  • Amazing TV for its Price Perfect for the bedroom. Great video quality but I'm not sure on the sound as I always use a sound system. Good amount of inputs and the interface is a better setup than most brands.
Junk So just about one month after the warranty ran out the voice went silly on this onereally tinny with an echo to it. Avoid this if you feel you have to buy one definitely get the extended warranty. Speaking for myself I will never buy anything made by Samsung again.
Poor Quality/Poor Service This TV is like newits hardly ever used. After 9 months the audio sounds like rocks rattling in a tin can.Samsung 12 month warranty is a joke. Customer must pay to ship this piece of crap back to the service center.I have a Samsung cell phone that is equally as bad.At least Samsung products are consistent.
Great TV for small price Bought this TV on October 2010 at Costco to be used in a windowless room where the kids have the Wii. We use it mostly for gaming and watching movies the feature of plug & play a USB drive is awesome and very intuitive.I have no idea what are the new models but for sure that I will stick to this line.
Great until it broke. I bought this tv off Amazon in November on Black Friday.I didnt use it until March Id purchased it for my new home I was renovating.Mid September it died. Unfortunately I live in the Bahamas and it is a huge rigmaroll for me to get it replaced. While the 1800samsung service rep was very nice it is going to be extremely difficult and time consuming. I may wind up just sucking it up and buying a new tv.
Excellent Purchase I purchased this model April 2011 and was glad I did. I own a 22 and fell in love with it so I decided to buy another Samsung. This model has a media play option so I can view my pictures from a USB flash drive or play podcast from my iPod. My next purchase will be a Samsung. Also the customer service is excellent.Amazon did a great job on the shipping received it within 2 days of my purchase.
LN32C450 RED LIGHT Be Awarer this TV has a lot of Issues with Sound card and Board components from power light will start to flash and TV wont turn on i purchase two one in August 2010 and one on March this Year and the two have the same problem i also have a Phillips 42 a 47 LG and a 40Sony in the same house and have not problem with them they all are connect with power protectors.Good look.
Great while it lasted So this tv was great for the first eighteen months we had it. Then one day it just wouldn't turn on. I've always loved Samsung products we have a Samsung LCD that we bought in 2006 and the picture is still better than most other brands on the market today. Unfortunately I may be reconsidering my love of Samsung products now especially if they're going to be selling disposable televisions.
An Excellent 32 HDTV I bought my first HDTV some four years ago at about six times the cost of this Samsung 32 HDTV. No comparison This one is better by any measure. The best I can offer in a review of this product is that given an opportunity I would buy this one again and hang it in the same place on my bedroom wall.
Capacitor too small failed at 18 months ZERO customer service Having the same issues as the others. Unit won't power up and has a flashing red light on the front. First tried to place an online work order and was given a walk in site in NJ and I live in CA. Called Samsung indicated it appeared to be ongoing problem with these sets. Was given a tech transaction number and transferred to a personal services advocate representative so was briefly hopeful. I was told my unit was not one of the units they were repairing. First get a map I am not walking the unit across the country. Second their solution was that I give them a credit card hold of $125.00 then pay additional funds to ship it to them. Then they would let me know the repair costs after they received it. Same thing even with the supervisor not covered as warranty expired. With my experience they are covering some units just not mine. DON'T purchase. It had a nice picture but so did a lot of other brands that actually back their product and have a basic concept of customer service. FYI part that failed cost less than $1. Spend the extra $200 to get a better brand because you will be spending it in a year or two anyway to fix this one.

  • Repair Repair Repair I bought this and it lasted 11 months had to have it repaired due to no picture $400 and then one year later same problem then one year later same problem for a $1500 tv it is a piece of junk. I will never buy samsung again even though in consumer reports this was suppose to be the best tv.
Avoid Samsung at all cost We bought this TV a couple of years ago and it was working fine till 3 months ago. The screen on the left side started flickering and the TV shuts off. When I wrote to Samsung about the problem I got a do not reply to sender email from Samsung saying that the product is out of warranty and it is not their problem. They did provide contact information for local TV repairman Samsung certified who wanted $260 flat to do an onsite inspection. Actual cost of repair and parts are extra. On searching the web this seems to be a prevalent issue with Samsung TV's and Monitor's attributed to their use of cheap low quality capacitors. Samsung doesn't seem to care about this as most of the failures occur in year 2 to 3 when the warranty has expired.I would strongly recommend not buying this product till Samsung has taken appropriate measures to win the customer confidence back.
Still going strong after 3 years I bought this TV back in 2008 with the automated mount moves up down side to side with the Samsung remote and it has been stellar. Granted it is located in my room and gets nowhere near as much use as my family room TV but I have nothing to complain about. The sound isn't the best in the world and I don't care to put even a sound bar in my bedroom but it isn't a deal killer.
excellent tv Bought it for inlaws. It runs 4 hours a day since 2008 w/o any issues or service calls.Excellent video quality. I think larger bezel allowed Samsung to cool this tv better thusextending its life.
Another One Dead I also purchased this TV almost three years to the date was showing a great picture until it just started vertical streaking the picture.
Great T.V. but too complicated beyond basic functions I've had the T.V for some time now and it still works very well..
stopped working properly It worked really well for the first two years then unexpectedly it started having problems. The TV literally takes 30 minutes to warm up before it is able to be used. When I first turn the TV on it has a large black spot/streak in the middle of the screen. After about 20 minutes it switches to having lines on the left side of the screen. This usually last for about 10 minutes and then the picture is perfect again. I have tried contacting Samsung to no avail. I understand warranties and all that but I also think that a $1500 HDTV should work well for many years. I have an old 27 inch TV in my garage that still works. I bought that TV for my college dorm in 1998!!! There is no reason an expensive TV should stop working properly.
Still impressive after 3 years I got this TV as a graduation present back in summer of 2008. Today it still works as good as the day I first got it. I have used it almost every single day usually for an average of three hours. I haven't noticed any degradation in quality and performance at all I hope I didn't just jinx myself. I do make sure I wipe off dust from time to time as I just really like the clean glossy black finish. There is a halo effect due to the clear glass frame at the edges but that doesn't bother me much. This should really only be an annoyance when you want it to be absolutely pitched black in the room when watching a movie. Otherwise I like the look of the border during the day.I have used it with my PS3 as a second monitor for my PC and survived a move to my new home. There are plenty of cable connections in the back but I have only used the HDMI ports. I used the on/off timer feature as my backup alarm clock. I like the flexibility it allows such specifying recurrence via day of the week. I also like the backlit remote control.
Worked great for 3 years and now a Dead Panal! Bought this TV in Novmeber of 2008 on Amazon worked great until january 2012 when 2 vertical red laser like barcode strips just started showing up on the screen. Had it checked out at a tv repair shop and they told me that the screen is shot. Really?!! after only 3 years of light use in the bedroom. And the touch of color is a joke had that replaced 2 months later after it started melting and cracking the whole tv frame from the heat that this sucker puts out. The second toc frame thats on now did the same thing but only took longer to show the wear about a year later. Still fighting with Samsung to do something about this issue but there giving me the run around. What i'm worried about is I just bought a new Samsung 55 3D smart tv 7000 model in October and i'm wondering how long this one is going to last. So be careful with Samsung tv's there great when they work.
DO NOT BUY THIS SET DO NOT BUY!!!! I bought this set 3 years ago and have experienced the turning on/turning off 20 times in a minute with not picture issue that everyone else has. The technician said it was bad capacitors then a bad power supply then a bad main board. The class action suit takes care of the capacitors and power supply but you are stuck with $488 for a new main board and labor. DO NOT BUY this TV!!!!! It is junk and Samsung is not standing behind their product. My cheap Vizio has lasted longer than this overpriced paperweight.

  • Crisp and Clear I bought this TV for my son and it is wonderful. The picture is so crisp and clear. Nice for his extra room. Definitely recommend the LED.
Nice TV I like the TV. Very slim and clear picture. I have two TV's and both are Samsumgs so obviously I have faith in the quality of their TV's.I use it as our 2nd TV so I didn't get a high definition box and the picture still looks pretty good. I considered a slightly larger TV but I think that 32 inches is the largest TV that can be watched enjoyably without an HD box.
    Satisfied with the product
Nice TV I really like TV. The picture is clear and very sharp. I've just got it and haven't had the chance to try all the features as of yet. It came to me very fast and well packed and my UPS guy rang the door bell and made sure I knew he brought the TV. NO complaints about delivery or the shipping process.
Gets the Job Done For the price available features quality size and power consumption this set does a great job. Above all this set is THIN!!! Holy cow is it thin! At the same time this set is relatively light versus a CFL backlight TV.Moving on blacks and the overall color range is pretty good on this set. Backlight bleeding is minimal for blacks and I've fooled around with color/contrast/brightness settings to find my comfort zone. Please please do the same because factory settings are 99% wrong for most folks.I've done research about 1080 vs. 720 resolution and found a general rule of thumb If the set is around 32/42 or less then you won't see a difference between 1080 and 720. So far I have to agree. Granted I do not have a BluRay player to provide an ultimate result but with what I do have I am satisfied. Which brought me to another conclusion when shopping for a new TV.If you buy a fancy 1080p set and hook it up to a poor signal then you wasted your money. Meaning if you don't provide a solid 1080 signal then you won't use the full ability of the set. On that just because you use HDMI does not mean you have a 1080 signal! In my case the cable company provides 720 resolution and if the landlord allowed it I would go with a satellite company to find true 1080 signal.Aside from picture quality sound quality is so so as most integrated sound systems are. On the bright side I believe the speakers hit a moderate range of sound but don't expect amazing bass or high tones.Last of all I am not a huge sports fan but when I watched the Super Bowl on this set I was impressed. In fact I might start watching more games now that I have this TV.
Good LED TV I really like your TV picture so crisp and the thinness of this.
GREAT TV Poor AMAZON RELIABILITY I thoroughly researched this Samsung TV and it has exceeded most of my expctations! I do believe that te sound is not the high qualitythough. My issue is with Amazon.com. This television for which I paid OVER $500.00 was simply left on m porch!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone could have stolen it. Not right not reliable.
Cable Box cutomersTake note Picked up Samsung 4005 eseries at CostcoGuess its same as 4000389.00 after 50.00 offWell I got it home setup HDMI.Picture greatBut no sound! Called SamsungCostco tech..We did sound test..There is a sound tone when you turn on and it was okThe Rep said I should exchange cable Box because HDMI port was bad..Oh yes! the Com hookup was fineThe orig wires from cable company 5..To make a long story short.I went into cablebox setting and just changed audio source to HDMI..It was on otherIts great now.Hope this helps you.
A good TV The TV upgraded a nonHDTV. It is fine for most viewing. It is not the best for high speed action such as sports but still OK.
Samsung 32 LED TV I believe Samsung TV puts out an excellent product however they need to improve on there sound system. I purchased a smaller Samsung TV as well as this 32 and the sound has to be turned up full in order to hear. The 32 side has acceptable sound levels.

Samsung LN46B550 46 Inch 1080p Touch Good TV

Good TV, The TV is great. The picture quality is top notch. However, when integrated with the SAMSUNG Blu-Ray player...
Great for the price, I have been looking to replace my Fujitsu 42" plasma that was 5 years old. Embarrassed to say what I paid, but this Samsung blows that one away. For $1k this is a great product. The unit gives a clear crisp picture. Built in speakers are plenty for the bedroom. if you would want in a theatre room, you need to add external speakers.

My only complaint is that it takes about 30 seconds for the picture to come on when you turn it on. Also when you turn it off there is a white lite which may be the lamp that you see before the screen goes black.

So far, so good. I hope to have this one longer than the plasma.
Broke in 10 Months, Got this item on 12-18-2009 and it worked great. Picture was decent for a low end LCD and XBOX 360 and PS3 looked fantastic. My only BIG complaint is it stop displaying the picture after 10-months. I can turn it on and I can hear the sound but no picture. Even the overlay display cannot be seen. I contacted Samsung customer support through the on-line website. We will see how that works out, at-least it broke before my year warranty expired.
Dead TV after 20 months, I thought I was buying a quality product when I purchased this tv in May 2009. However, last week while on the tv made a large popping noise, shut off, and I smelled burning plastic/rubber. The tv failed to turn back on, and after talking to both Samsung (they told me my tv was SO FAR out of warrant - um, 8 months past is "SO FAR?") and then their authorized repair shop, I was told it was the Power Supply and fixing it would cost $450.
Highly recommend!, I have this TV for just over a year. I have no complains. It is a great TV.
An excellent find, Bought it open box "Like New" and it's perfect. Screen is beautiful - especially in HD.
    love this TV,
Great TV - Excellent inputs - Love the large display, I've been looking at this TV for the past two years, and following the upgrades in model numbers. I finally pulled the trigger for my birthday last month, and I'm really pleased with the TV.

    Out of the box:

The TV was expertly packaged. When I pulled it out of the box, I had the TV, a small stand, and the power cord. I had the TV on the stand for a few days before mounting it on the wall using a Peerless SA750PU Universal Articulating Wall Mount for 32" to 58" Displays (Black). The stand that came with the TV seemed a little flimsy to me. It's a small plastic stand upon which the TV snugly sits. When placed on a low-slung coffee table, the TV wobbled a little when the coffee table was bumped. While the stand will likely be more than enough for most users, I have two fairly large dogs who like to romp around. If I used the stand permanently, I would be worried the TV might topple and would better secure it somehow. Once the TV was mounted on the wall, it securely fit into the mount and I have little fear of it falling, or being upended.

    Unit appearance:

The display looks great. The "Red Touch of color" is noticeable enough to be stylish, but subtle enough not to be distracting. The outer portion of the display is rimmed with a transparent glass that is a total fingerprint magnet. So much so that whenever I tilt the TV or move it on the articulating wall-mount, I try to pull my sleeves over my hands so as not to leave prints, or I wipe the edges down when I'm done. Regardless, the TV is beautiful.
Great LCD TV, Excellent TV. Easy hookup, great color, clarity, resolution. Like every Samsung I have had, very happy with it.
Excellent TV, I've had this TV for just under a week now and am very pleased with it. The picture is great. Set up and connections were easy and straight forward - it was up and running within 15 minutes. Easily connect to a Sony Blu-Ray player and older Sony Home Theater system.
