  • Full HD 3D sends a separate 1920 x 1080 full-HD image to each eye, for sharp, crisp 3D images
  • No Regrets or Second Guessing! Well I'm a gamer. As a gamer my primary concern for an HDTV was input lag. After doing research it came to my attention Panasonic plasmas have quite low input lag1620ms while not in game mode and as a result have high PQ with low input lag. I was concerned about Image Retention and Burnin. After further research it became apparent that Burnin was hardly a concern for reasonable use. Image Retention however seemed to vary from user to user and could be attributed to user errorsome had the mode on Vivid and pixel orbiter on default or variance between panels or panels manufactured in different factories/months. My personal experience is that I've only experienced noticeable IR from Gears of War which is my primary game of choice which I spend many hours playing. Sessions can go from anywhere between 2hrs to 10hrs. I have pretty nasty IR from the weapon Iconvery deep black against bright environments but although it lingers it's not noticeable in normal viewing and it fades so it's not burnin.
Great 3D plasma The t.v came on the day it was scheduled to be without any noticeable problems so automatically the shipment gets a 5 star. When I got this t.v I was drowning in joy. I bought it with the intention of using it as my T.V via cable and PS3 and computer monitor setup for my brand new computer that I built myself. I immediately noticed how great the t.v was despite the window across from it attempting to distort the view the t.v fought back by changing the light it emmitted itself. I am not a person that knowledgable about t.v's but I known from the moment I saw how well the pictures came out that it was a great purchase. Not even after a full 3 days past the screen refreshed itself notibly and I was then able to see a black line coming from the middle top of the screen to the bottom of the screen. I was at a loss of words when that just happened all of a sudden. What I did was researched Plasma t.vs in general to see if this was something that happens frequently. Turns out it happens to plasmas pretty often having to do with something about the motherboard in the t.v.
Really love this TV! We purchased this TV for our bedroom after considering buying an LED. Considering that the LED technology is more expensive at this point because it is newer we decided on a Plasma. After reading many reviews we decided this TV was the best for the $$$. The picture quality is excellent and the Viera Cast aps Netflix Amazon etc are great! We had just purchased the same TV but bigger version for our living room and love that one as well. You will not be disappointed with this TV. We just ordered the 3D Blu ray player and glasses so we haven't used this feature yet but I have heard that it is great on this model.
Panasonic P42GT25 review This tv has performed excellently since I bought it in November 2011. The 3D looks great once I finally found a pair of glasses that work for it.
Superb Plasma HDTV I Love this Television! I spent a huge amount of time researching HD televisions before making this purchase. Early in my shopping I had almost ruled out plasma but after reading many articles with regard to the benefits of plasma I took the plunge. I always have felt that plasma screens displayed the most natural looking images especially for viewing movies. During my search in the retail stores several of the HDTV salesman quietly admitted to me that when viewed at home in normal indoor lighting conditions plasma blows LCD/LED out the window. It seems that Best Buy and other retail outlets really push LED technology. My suspicion is that their profits are higher on LED models as they tend to carry a very high premium with regard to price. Consumer Reports 2011 Buying Guide rated plasmas TV's very highly with regard to HD picture quality black levels color accuracy viewing angle and motion smoothness. Panasonic was rated the highest of all brands in the 4246inch plasma ratings and were tops in reliability in the CR 2011 Guide. When it comes to power use my old 24 Sony Trinitron CRT used 170 watts of power! My new 42 Panasonic Plasma averages 99 watts according to the specifications in the user manual! That's pretty darn energy efficient in my book and the TCP42GT25 carries an Energy Star certification! The Panasonic TCP42GT25 is an amazing television. The colors are breathtaking and the picture clarity especially with a BluRay player is phenomenal. I just cannot get enough of watching this television! Everything viewed on it it is an exciting experience. For movies sports BluRay Netflix streaming and almost anything else this TV is breathtaking to watch! I have not tried the 3D yet but everything I have read says that plasma is superior for 3D viewing. I believe the 600hz refresh rate is what makes the difference here. I combined my purchase of the TCP42GT25 with the companion Panasonic DMPBDT210 BluRay player which has WiFi/Internet accessViera Cast and includes Netflix streaming. The TCP42GT25 is also capable of of WiFi Internet access on its on own with an $80 adapter but connecting with the BluRay works just as well.
TCP42GT25 REVIEW I got this one from Costco in 5/11. Now I run into terrible popping noise whenever it is turned on. It won't even stop after half hour later when it is turned off. I heard there are few problems with 2011 Panasonic models such as Fluctuating Bright Light etc I have older Panasonic models 2008 and 2010 and they run great.
Very Good TV I upgraded from a 27 CRT so expectations were high. I had heard what you see in the Showroom is not what you see at home and I must say this TV has excellent picture quality. I had read a lot about the LCD LED's particularly about picture quality not being upto par so was a little bit hesitant. Here is a synopsis of some features.Picture HD is very very good. NonHD took a little bit of setup but surprisingly clear once setup right borrowed some ideas from blogs. Setup menu is quite self explanatory.Audio Ordinary a bit high on the bass. I'm using external speakers so I don't really careMounting was easy about 2030 min.Connections Pretty much connects to anything Laptop 3 HDMI USB Certainly more than I will use. Internet connection was easy and quick.
No way to see entire image. PC Resolution lower than 1920*1080. You'll never get a full fitted image in the screen. For PC via HDMI you'll have 11.5 inch margin each side and tv don't recommend ot use HDMI for PC. The VGA port can't support up to 1920*1080 resolution or more than 60Hzeven LCD can up to 85Hz or 100Hz and with cheap price. I don't know why I need buy this so called 600Hz plasma TV. For other adjustable HDMI outputBlueray XBOX360 the signal will alway be cutted and scale to display area and no way to see entire image.
Hidden specifications that makes this TV substandard 720p with VGA only 60Hz refresh rate I purchased this TV at local Costco which is lot cheaper than Amazon. There are several things that annoyed me. When I connected my computer to TV using HDMI cable the highest refresh rate was 60 Hz which resulted in a visible flicker. I contacted customer support and they told me that this is highest TV can take. They told me to try VGA cable instead to get better refresh rate. So I purchased VGA cable. Then I found that even with the VGA cable refresh rate is still limited to 60Hz. On top of everything the display resolution is 720p on the VGA cable. So this is not a complete 1080p HD package.
Amazing TV The BEST 42 incher out there Got this through AMAZON and it is after getting a 58 inch Panasonic VT25 3D TV and falling in love. The GT25 is the BEST HD TV on the market and is the only Plasma 42' 3D and you cant get it at Best Buy or other stores!Do not get anything less than the GT level as the quality of the image is not the same as the lesser Panasonics.Do your homework. You can't get the 42' GT in stores anymore you have to get them while they are available online like the old Pioneer TVs.The Amazon connection delivers assembles and hauls the trash.

To help you get a great 3D experience, use our checklist below to ensure that you have everything you need. If you have any questions or want to learn more about 3D, we invite you to visit 3D 101--our center for everything 3D. To get started with 3D, please ensure that you have:

A Display The first--and most important--item you'll need is a 3D-ready display--whether it be a 3D HDTV, 3D projector, or 3D computer monitor. These displays usually have a higher processing power than older models as they need to display one image for each eye to create a 3D effect. A Source While your display is ready for 3D playback, you still need a device to read 3D content (i.e., a movie or a show). This source can be a cable box with a subscription to a 3D channel, a 3D Blu-ray Disc player, or a PlayStation 3. Content In order to watch 3D, you will need to get some 3D content. This 3D content will come from the source mentioned above in the form of a 3D program, movie, or game. Please ensure that your 3D movies are in the Blu-ray 3D format, as this new format will provide the best 3D experience. 3D Glasses All 3D HDTVs on the market require Active Shutter glasses to create the 3D effect. You will need to buy one pair of glasses for each viewer. Also make sure that the Active Shutter glasses you buy are compatible with your display--for example, buy the glasses from the same brand as your 3D HDTV. HDMI Cable To connect your source (such as a 3D Blu-ray Disc player) to your display, you'll need a hgh-speed HDMI cable. Cables with this designation--with bandwidth speeds up to 10.2 Gbps (gigabits per second)--will be able to carry the 3D signal without any loss of quality. If you want to get more information about 3D, shop our 3D products, watch videos, or interact with other customers, visit 3D 101, our customer center about everything 3D.

Samsung UN46D6500 46 Inch 1080p Black Great TV

Great TV, This was an easy set-up. Everything about this is working perfect right now. The motion control has to be played with and fine tuned at first. I have HD and non HD channels where it's difficult to tell the two apart now. Not only TV and videos, but Xbox is great on it. I used to be a Sony fan, but the ratings for Samsung changed my mind.
Astonishing, This is an awesome television. I'd purchased it to replace a two-year old HD television of the same size. The older television had a display refresh rate of 60Hz, and the jagged artifacts while watching football and hockey, the moire patterns of folks in plaid suits and striped ties were making me a little crazy, and the cold-start time of the old-school flourescant backlighting was getting on my last nerve.

The image clarity of this Samsung is stunning. I was prepared for a really good picture. I wasn't expecting to be so thoroughly blown away by the image, by the SMART television features (let's face it; an Internet-enabled TV is pretty cool) and I really couldn't be more pleased at the bang for the buck of this HDTV. I'd give it six stars if I could.
Don't buy expensive electronics from Amazon, This is one of the best TV-s around, especially for the price. Returned a Sony Bravia KDLEX720 for buying this tv. Amazon allowed me to choose free super saver shipping during purchase, which I did, not knowing that some UPS guy will come and unload a crushed hdtv box in front of my apartment. The tv works, but given the amount of damage to the box, I can only imagine the impact this tv has withstood during shipment, and I am worried it might cause issues later. For something worth this much money, I would expect Amazon to be a little bit more careful in choosing their shipping options. And unfortunately, this is not first time. I had similar experience when I bought an equally expensive DSLR camera + lens from Amazon. So no more Amazon for me, as far as expensive electronics is concerned.
A Work of Art, I LOVE the look of this TV sitting on my black granite topped credenza. Picked them both out in the last few weeks, and damn, I did GOOD! Lol. I'm awestuck every time I turn the thing on. It's tempting to run my relaxation DVD's all day just to enjoy the pictures. The thin bezel and deep blacks make ALL the difference.
Awsome, This television is amazing. Easy setup and connection to my wireless router right out of the box. The resolution is great and beats all other brands out there. Only wished that it had a built in browser.
Best TV I have owned, but be prepared to spend some time, I purchased the Samsung UN46D6500 TV because the reviews on the 6000 Series were very positive and I was able to buy the 6500 that includes 3D and built in WiFi at the same price as the 6000 Series models that do not have either or both of these features. I also received two pairs of Samsung 3D glasses free with the purchase (SSG-3050GB). I am not a big 3D fan, but since it came free, it was a worthwhile upgrade. I don't currently download movies from the internet so the WiFi feature interested me more to download the software updates, but eventually I will get around to playing with the other features like the Samsung Apps. First of all, I will agree with the comments of many of the reviewers that say that is a great looking TV. The narrow frame and the glass make it easily the best looking TV I have owned. I have it on a Z-Line media stand with black glass shelves and it looks great. I haven't done a lot yet with 3D, but I did preview some 3D movies from my cable provider. They were good, but if I got serious about 3D, I would purchase the better Samsung glasses (SSG-3500CR) which have rechargeable batteries. Mine were free and work ok, so I am in no hurry to spend more money.

The setup was very easy but I would recommend that you go to the Samsung website and download the full owner's manual before you begin. The short abbreviated manual included with the TV is ok, but you can find out a lot more about for instance the various picture, sound, etc. adjustments that are not detailed in the short manual. The WiFi setup took only minutes although I did not set up any accounts or download any Samsung Apps. I ran the software updates without problem. The real challenge is in tweaking the picture and other various settings to your individual liking.
Samsung UN55D6500 55-Inch 1080p 120 Hz 3D LED TV (Black), This television is really great! The pictures are clear; the colors are rich, and the sound is very good. I have played with the Smart features a bit - BBC News. I haven't had a chance to check out the 3-D yet. At first I was a little concerned about having a TV delivered , but it was delivered quickly (faster than I expected)and in great shape. It was easy to install - my brother and I completed it within a half hour. The price was very good.
    Samsung UN40D6500 40" Class 3D LED HDTV,
Samsung UN46D6500 46-Inch 1080p 120 Hz 3D LED TV (Black), I love this TV. I still need to move to the HD broadcasting for regular cable but the picture quality with some of the HD streamed movies that I saw was stunning with awesome vivid colors. There is no bleeding of light for darker frame images at the seams. Setup was easy and the apps are quite cool.
Samsung 46D6500 LED TV, This TV is awesome. Utra-thin and light. Incredibly easy to set up. It only took me a couple of minutes to unpack, setup the base and have the TV running and connected to the home network. The picture quality is phenomenal, once connected to an HD source. The apps are okay. Not really big on using apps on the TV, so it doesn't really bother me. Otherwise we are extremely happy with our choice, and I would highly recommend it to others.

LG Infinia 47LW5600 47 Inch LED LCD Good TV Great Price

Nice TV---- Would Recomment, I just have the TV for a day after purchasing from Amazon.com so yes, I still have my fingers crossed that this was the correct purchase.
I was fortunate to get this TV at a very nice sale price, as I think the normal price for this LG model is excessive. 3D may be a nice option, but unless you have children, there is very little use for 3D at this point. I only went with this model as I read tons of reviews all over the Net (I read Amazon's reviews, but I like to get independent reviews too, to verify everything) and the overall opinion from all the sources was that this LG and one SONY model were probably the top choices for this size and this price range. And with the Amazon special value sale price, it was $2000 less than the alleged equivalent from SONY anyplace.
First let me say that I was pleased with Amazon's fast shipment and the delivery. I got free economy delivery which they use HomeDirect. The TV came exactly 7 days after I ordered it, very quick in my mind. HomeDirect has had extremely bad reviews for tons of delivery problems as did Paul's TV (the co-supplier on this sale) for shipping defective items. Both did well in my mind.
There were minor glitches with HomeDirect. I got an e-mail in the middle of the week, giving me notice that they would probably be delivering the TV that Friday. To my surprise, their e-mail said they would unpack the TV, plug it in and make sure it was working. SUPER!!!! They called two days in advance to verify the Friday delivery and I requested an afternoon delivery. No problem per customer service. A day later, I went to their site on the Net, the status said 1:47 PM that Friday delivery estimated. Great!! I got a call the day before, and the dispatcher said 11 AM. I said that was okay though I preferred afternoon, but go with 11AM. I get a call at 8 AM the next morning, saying the truck would be there in 30-40 minutes. WOW, rush time. Anyway, they came and put the TV in my living-room.
Good quality TV, Very good quality TV, I'm impressed. LG does a good job on this TV even though the price is low.
i love the tv its great, i really love this 55 inch lg 3d tv its great and i would just like to say that the service was exceptional. regarding the shippment of thi product it became lost and the place that recieved it to send it to me sent it to the wrong destination which made me have to wait for 3 extra days to recieve it then i had to go out and leave work early to meet the delivery man just so i could have my tv. that is not audio and video's fault but they did reimburse me 50 dollars so i would be less angry about something that wasent there control but they did it anyway. i love that. that is what i call great service i also bought a 5 yr service plan for my tv at amazon for 190 dollars and the 3 yr plan from lg was 140 so why not get the extra 2 yrs of service the exact same plan but 5 yrs instead of 3 for 50 more bucks its worth it because it covers everything, parts labor and replaces my tv if it cant be fixed this tv is the best tv for the money that you can buy for this excellent price so thats my review on the lg 55lw5600 3d smart tv the only down side to it being smart is that i had to buy a lg smart tv upgrader to use the internet on it that kinda sucks and i didnt read that in any other reviews so i thought i would mention it to you all out there that like to stream netflix like i do if you get one of these smart tv's get the upgrader or streamer for it.
Good TV Great Price, My wife and I debated long and hard before we made our new 55" TV purchase. The matte screen, the local LED dimming, and the very reasonable price led us to decide on this TV. We couldn't be happier. The TV performs well in bright light (we have lots of windows in our living room) The picture blows away the older Sony KDF-55WF655 in our basement. The sound is adequate for us since we are using it on a stand. It might be a bit weaker if wall mounted. We are really pleased with this TV and have recommended it to others.
A Very Good TV, This is a very good tv. Display is excellent (can compare with similar Samsung) but the 'smart' tv feautures are lousy. I 3D feature is cool. Do not expect to enjoy Youtube on this TV, Netflix app works well but you need to be really patient to use Amazon Instant Video.
3D TV, We have had the LG 55" 3D TV now for a few weeks and so far it is Amazing!!! We can't wait for more 3D programs and movies.
Awesome tv and really neat features, So after a lot of research I landed on buying this tv. I knew I wanted to get a bigger screen and since 3D is where its heading towards I figured this was my best bet. I did a lot of reading on the difference between passive and active 3d and overall the benefits to passive seem to outweigh the few disadvantages. I think the 3D looks really cool and it will need to be customized to your individual preferences at first but its really awesome when you find your settings. I took the advice of another review and went to hometheaterdotcom for my calibration settings and the picture does look awesome. I really like the local dimming feature, even though in a dark room on a dark screen like the movie credits you can see the light variations where the words are I still think over all its a well used funciton. The tv has a really nice picture and the features it has are really cool. I particularly love the nero media home which creates a neat little linked network between your computer and your tv (if you have wi-fi) and allows you to view content on your computer like music or movies and play through your tv. No more tieing up the laptop to watch movies. Hulu works a little slow so thats a little annoying but its still nice to not have to run my laptop or xbox just to use it. Overall I think this is a great tv and if you can tolerate the very slightly brighter outer edges (hence edge lit) this tv is really awesome. And I emphasize on the slight cuz with local dimming turned on its not hardly noticeable. The tv has a slew of apps that I havent checked out but I just couldnt get over the really nice nero feature. For the price this is a great tv without the 3D...the 3D makes it almost a steal.
Not Pleased Yet, Received this tv yesterday hoping to get to use it. Had issues getting through the firewall, which they said is a common issue with their smart TVs. After I got that figured out, I had to call back to LG since I could not use any internet content. They decided that the issue is that this TV's software is so outdated that the online content cannot be used. They said most likely the TVs that are being sold have been sitting in a warehouse for a while and are so outdated you cannot just download an update to fix. They are sending me something that is supposed to fix this, but we will see. So far, not pleased.
A bad buy!!!, Buy this article as I had read good reviews of it, but in my case was the opposite ...
My purchase of LG Infinia 47LW5600 was the worst .. Connect the power-hungry TV start expirementar 3D technology. but this was not possible because the TV never worked, only appeared pixels across the screen, not even the menu could be seen. I contacted the seller VIDEO & AUDIO CENTER, and his answer was, talk to the workshop of LG. Because I have to talk to another company if I buy it in VIDEO & AUDIO CENTER, is a bad policy from them, then try to communicate with LG and is even worse. I returned to communicate with VIDEO & AUDIO CENTER e-mail, and I passed the case to his representative, a person who treated me the worst, did not solve my problem and spoiled. In short I lost my money, I changed the TV. and closed the case, saying they were not going to change, or refund anything.
I love this TV, We had been in the market for a new TV for quite some time, and I had planned on just buying something in the 42~47 LCD range once prices dropped after the holidays ... but when the price on the 47" version of this TV dropped under $1000 I just couldn't resist. I couldn't be happier with the decision: the image quality is simply amazing in both 2D and 3D; it's a wonderful product. As of now, however, it appears that the 47LW6500 is about the same price; given that fact, it seems like the 6500 is an even better value. That being said, however, we are very happy with our 47LW5600 TV.

This can be a cable box with a subscription to a 3D channel, a 3D Blu-ray Disc player, or a PlayStation 3 system. 3D Content3D content--the actual entertainment, in other words--will be played back using the source mentioned above, whether it's a 3D broadcast from your cable provider, a 3D Blu-ray Disc, or a 3D video game. 3D GlassesFor now, the vast majority of 3D HDTVs require glasses for 3D viewing. Many use powered "active shutter" glasses, others polarized "passive" glasses. You'll need one pair per viewer, and they'll have to be compatible with your display, whether they're the same brand, or a pair of "universal" glasses designed to work across brands. HDMI CableTo connect your source (such as a 3D Blu-ray Disc player) to your display, you'll need a high-speed HDMI cable. Cables with this designation feature bandwidth speeds up to 10.2 Gbps (gigabits per second), for carrying the 3D signal without any loss of quality.
