  • Worth the price A very awesome LCD. Looks great. Picture quality is just wonderful for a 22 TV. Would recommend to everyone.
Oh my Well my mother bought one almost 2 years ago and it still works fine. For that reason i bought the same TV but i wasn't that lucky. Just2 weeks later my tv has a thin vertical blue line that really bothers me.
Great tv! Good quality tv. I've owned it for about a month and it has everything I want. I'm able to hook it up to my gaming system and my computer so it works out nice. Picuture quality is excellent as well. If you plan on playing Call of Duty with more than 2 people you might want a larger screen.
some what annoyed the set has a very high picture quality so long as i am in the sweet spotaprx.5ft.of the tv.when ever i get closer or farther away the picture quality will either get very dark or very light.i have HDMI cable connected. the lack of consistent high picture quality is my only beef.
Out of the Dark Ages finally Dear fellow AmazonianzMy previous television was a 25 Sharp purchased 15 years ago. At the time it was considered top o'the line even though it weighed a mere 3 tons and was unmoveable. When it fell landlord came running up stairs to see if I was still alive. Being so large and dense it survived the fall and continued providing great images but the sound was slowly fading. My cable provider who I wont insult here is so busy acquiring new customers with a new comprehensive total residential package that smaller customers like myself in a small apt w one set have become like gnats in their ears. My reception was freezing or breaking up request for service calls meant minimum 7 day wait and a sudden event of no picture and no internet connection was becoming part of one's day like the water or electricity going off each day in certain 3rd world countries.Fortunately I moved 2 days ago and so decided to leave the dinosaur behind w a neighbor who was thrilled as his dinosaur was even larger than mine and about to crash.I honestly had no idea I originate from the dark days of silent cartoons of what kind of television to buy for my new life. After researching the concept of saving money and ditching cable altogether by getting an antenna for a tv set up for local limited viewing still needed technological skill I'm too old and tired to get involved with.So I did what any idiot would do I looked for the best reviewed set by Amazon customers read all the reviews on a set I could afford and bought this one.
Philips 22pfl3505d LCD TV What can I say the TV was a good value for the size and it came to the house in good shape. We've had the TV on almost everyday and it's been working perfectly. The set up was effortless it automatically scanned the channels and we were done. I had to go back and deselect some of the stations but that was easy too.

  • sqawk box How do you reconcile the latest technology wrapped in a beautifully designed wrapper with a sound package that sounds like a dying bird. Miniaturization is possible except in all things speaker. If the TV doesn't produce sound because of it's sleek design why don't they sell the TV with matching cool looking remote speakers. Hard to understand the value in putting an inferior product on the market.By the way the picture is great but there's more to a tv than great pictures. I started viewing on a black and white back in 1955 only switched to color in 1975 when I won a new tv at a Denver Nugget basketball game on a scalpers ticket. I think I enjoyed viewing more back then than I do now. My most recent TV was a 13 motorola which I have watched for 20 years from my seat at the breakfast table. It had way better sound than the Vizio and the picture way great. Unfortunately they don't make small white tv's any more. Hmm..
Great video lousy sound Very good video. The sound is of very poor quality. Plugging in a speaker to the headphone jack doesn't work with a speaker very well. If there was an audio output for external speakers this would be good. The TV fits just right in our kitchen.
amazed THEN DEPRESSED I got the TV in the mail today. As many reviewers have said..the Stand is quite difficult to put on. You basically have to force it on which you are reluctant to do with a new TV and once it was onI fell in love. The setup was super easy and it was the perfect size for my dorm room. I love this TV so muchat least i did FOR THE 2 HOURS THAT IT WAS WORKING. I turned it off..came back and TRIED to turn it on. After many hours of trying everything possible to turn it on..I've decided to return the TV. Though I bought it at $200 and now to buy the same black TV it will cost me about $65 more than what I originally paid. I really loved this TV while it worked.
best little tv i ever owned this has to be the best little tv i ever ownedit fits great on our kitchen counterits so thin and works greati am a fan of vizio tvs we have 2 of them. we recieved it very fast and no damage..
Super sleek TV I am very happy with this TV. It is very light thin and solid. It took me about half an hour to attach the stand/base to the TV but I knew it was gonna click eventually. The image is crisp and the sound is more than adequate for my needs.
Satisfied After auditioning several 22 models I was pleased to find this one at a respectable price. It allows better control on imaging & other features from the remote control. The remote control is somewhat flimsy toward the on/off button will see how long this plastic lasts without cracking.
Good bang for the buck! I like this little guy. It's really thin so perfect for mounting on the wall like a picture frame. I have it propped up on a book shelf instead. I don't watch TV that often so it was a good starter TV. The screen is a little less than 22'' and it kind of looks like a computer monitor but the picture and sound are fair enough.
Great sound I know for a tv sound may not be the most important thing but I am consistantly impressed with the sound quality from this tv.
Vizio flat screen HDTV We needed a TV for the kitchen and I didn't want to spend a fortune for one. This Vizio TV really fits the bill. And with the front firing speakers just below the screen it is just terrific. I would highly recommend this for anyone needing a small screen TV.
A white frame TV?? 1080p great video detail and fair audio but room for improvement Thank goodness this is available in black as white is the absolutely worst choice for a TV cabinet. Black makes the cabinet/bezel disappear from the viewer. White takes over pulling your eyes away from the screen. Actually worse than those chinsy silver sets Sony came out with 6 or 7 year ago! After talking to Vizio to try to get a handle on their multitude of model numbers they seem to have more TV's than HP has printers at least with the E and the M versions they are the same set just meant to be sold in different markets. The 220VA both sets will apply to this review.I had a chance to do a side by side with a Samsung 22 1080 set B2230HD and to my surprise this Vizio surpassed the Sammy in the detail department. Very noticeable when looking close up at faces or any other fine detail. The Sammy looked 'rolled off' soft compared to this. This is with the detail turned off down to zero on this set due to the excessive edginess to the image.
