  • Mass Market Led TV Great for the Price I have a Panasonic LCD TV from 2 years ago that I bought for 549.00 on amazon and the picture and sound are much better. That said I just bought this used isymphony from amazon warehouse for 200 and it still had the plastic on it. If you don't care about LED light bleeding through and screwing up the black parts of the screen this TV is excellent for the price. The sound is as godawful as all the reviews say and its the easiest thing to fix get 20 dollar PC speakers and plug it in with the headphone out jack fixed.
tv purchase Tv works great delivered exactly on time and it has a beautiful picture couldn't even find the cosmetic defect that was said in the ad.
cheap price for what I paid average quality. Good but not that bad After reading numerous reviews mostly negative about this TV I decided it was worth buying through Amazon Warehouse deals for under $300. most complaints were about its sound and indeed the speakers on this TV really do suck. I don't know what engineers decided to fit this huge 42 inch tv with tweeters instead of regular speakers but they did. However I prepared by buying a new set of speakers to outfit this tv with and I'm glad I did.
Piece of Garbage I got this TV through the Thanksgiving deals. As of April 17 2012 my TV is DEAD. Sure it turns on but no picture. What a waste.
Great Picture. Sound is lower quality The picture on this bad boy is pretty sweet. However the speakers sound very low quality. I guess that is why an LED screen of this size and this resolution can be sold so cheap. You have to cut corners some where. I just bought a sound bar from Amazon for 60$ and now its perfect. Great picture and great sound.
Awesome!! Bought last year for a really cheap price & it is still going like the first day. No problems at all.
Don't make the same mistake I made. I bought this tv in a lightning deal as did several others who have reviewed this product and I basically feel like I was struck by lightning instead of getting a great deal. But it was my fault for not researching this company before hitting the order button. The other mistake I made was to throw away the box. Call it blind faith or just stupidity.
Terrible Sound Coaxial input didn't work Got this as a lightning deal for a Christmas gift for the kid's playroom. Didn't expect too much since it was just going to play cartoons and the kids are exactly picky about contrast ratios nor are the audiophiles. Well first problem was that we could not get the coaxial input to work so we couldn't watch anything from our cable. We hooked it up via HDMI to the DVD player just so the kids could watch one show since they were so excited we finally got to set it up. The picture actually was pretty nice but the sound was horrible. I really cannot stress how bad the sound was. Needless to say we had to return it due to the coaxial problem but instead of just exchanging for a working one we decided to shell out more $$ for the LG. I would avoid this TV especially now that it isn't even a great deal. Just happy that Amazon was so great about taking the return.
Real Nice for the Price Defo good bang for your buck! I knew it was at the lower price point as far as LED's go so I didn't expect miracles but it defiantly surpassed my preinstalled worries of the picture quality. I think I will be hooking some speakers up to it though as the TV speakers for me personally don't fill my room well enough as it is quite a large open plan room area.
Complete iSymphony Review So the isymphony isn't a TV.lolIt turns out it's actually a *native* 720p or 720i TV. The manufacturer which isn't iSymphony has the TV giving edid protocol for communicating over HDMI/VGA what display settings are possible gives modes stating it can do 720 native and an ok to pass in 1080 which it reports back that the TV is going to oversample so the input signal is given an ok to support all manner of resolutions. That said the actual panel of pixels if counted may even actually count up to 1080 but there is no hardware to use em all on pixel by pixel 1080 input if it does.
